We live in a world where everyone has a way of hiding something from people to see, something like their emotions, their pain, their fears, their intentions, or their mistakes. A person can be crying on the inside but laughing on the outside. Someone can be depressed and still show up every day acting like nothing is wrong. Someone can be going through emotional trauma probably because of heart break but can still put on a smiling face. Some people can lie so confidently that you may even start doubting your own eyes and ears. Because of this, it has become almost impossible to truly know and understand who a person is or what they are going through.
But imagine for a moment that truth itself becomes a color. Imagine that lies also become a color, and both colors rise and float above every person’s head. You would not need to ask too many questions to know if someone is saying the truth or not. You would not need to guess or wonder if someone is making false excuses to cover up his mistake or track. Just imagine being the boss of a company and an employee framed another employee, there would be need to argument and to go check security footage why because the truth would simply reveal itself with indication of colour on the victim forehead.
You could walk into a room, an office or any gathering and immediately know who is honest, who is pretending, and who is hiding behind a mask.
Imagine If truth or lies can be dictated from a person's forehead, the world would be so interesting and frightening at the same time. Our lives, relationships, jobs, friendships, and even society would change if truth and lies could no longer be hidden behind facial expressions and sweet words.

IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE EMOTIONS CAN NO LONGER BE HIDDEN
Let me bring an example with the everyday situations we all might have experience in one way or the other. Think of a person who is heartbroken or deeply hurt probably because of heart break but still says I’m fine, when you ask him what's wrong with you. In the world we know today, we would believe them because that is what they want us to believe. But in a world where truth has a color, the moment they say I’m fine, while they are still hurting inside, the color of a lie would rise above their head instantly, then you will know that the person is actually lying.
Imagine walking past someone and seeing a color that represents pain hovering over them. You would immediately know that something is wrong, even if they are smiling with you. It would make you more sensitive and more aware of what others are feeling. Instead of simply assuming everyone is doing well, we would know those who are barely holding themselves together.

IMAGINE HOW RELATIONSHIPS WOULD CHANGE COMPLETELY
Now imagine how truth colors would affect relationships, our friendships, romantic relationships, marriages, work relationships, and everything in between.
Think of someone promising you love when they don’t really mean it. Like in our world today where a guy who is good with his words, and good looking comes to a lady and begin convincing her with his words and promising heaven and earth to her. If he is genuine, the colour of truth will indicate on his forehead and if he is lying, the colour of lies will indicate on his forehead. I bet you, many people would escape relationship that would end up in tragedy.
Imagine sitting face to face with someone you are about to start a new life with together, and you both are asking each other questions and the colours on the forehead is there to indicate if one person is lying or not, like a lie dictator, right there at that moment, you will know if you both are compatible to start a new life together or not. Imagine a party type guy who always goes to clubs, wanting to marry a church girl who always goes to church and he is trying to lie that he doesn't go to club just to gain the girl's trust but then the colour indicator that represents lie pop up in his forehead, what do you think will happen?

IMAGINE HOW TRUST WOULD FINALLY HAVE A TRUE MEASUREMENT.
Trust is one of the most fragile things in the world. It is easy for some people to promise someone, but hard to keep that promise. In our world today, trust depends heavily on guesses, past behavior, past encounter and emotional connection with people. You have to observe people for a long time before you can know who is truthful or not.
But in a world where truth has colors, it would be easy to trust someone instantly. If someone says, I will be there for you, and the color appears on the forehead, you will be able to know if you can trust them or not or if they are hiding something from you or not.
Just imagine how this world would be when truth and lie are revealed with colours, it would affect every aspect of our life's. There would be no more pretending to work while actually doing nothing. No more lying during interviews. No more false excuses, no more pretending to gain a girl or guy's attention. People would know who is telling the truth or not. Students couldn’t lie about assignments. Even our leaders and politicians would be exposed, immediately when they are making fake excuses or promises especially during campaigns.
Maybe society would finally become more honest because there would be no escape. Lies wouldn’t be useful anymore because everyone would see them. People who depend on deception would have to change or find a new way to survive. I believe the world would become more accountable. But the question remains, would people like being held accountable every second of their lives?

In my opinion, If truth were colors, life would be more straightforward. People would understand each other better. People will understand eachothers intentions. There would be less confusion, they won't be pretending. But we would also lose some of the gentle sides of human interaction, like the comforting lies and the private struggles of life. I believe the best world is a balanced one, a world where people try to be honest, but still have the freedom to grow, to heal, and to protect their hearts when necessary. Transparency is good, but empathy is also important. For me, if truth were colors, the world would not necessarily be better or worse, it would simply be different. It would depend on how we choose to live in it.
