The city of Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, until the new millennium was considered one of the best planned cities and where progress was advancing at an accelerated pace. As I have shown in other publications, such as the construction of a large shopping mall as was Orinokia Mall, although in certain years there was a decline in construction and perhaps the construction of the Hotel Plaza Meru, could be considered as one of the last modern buildings in the city.
This building, which is not characterized by having a high altitude, but its image is impressive for its design and construction in the city. It is a building, where it functions as a 5 star hotel, which has recently been recognized for the excellence of its facilities and services. Although in my case I have never stayed in this hotel, by references from acquaintances or even the Internet, you can get good recommendations. Therefore this review serves as a recommendation of the Hotel Plaza Merú, as a recommended place for those who at some point have the opportunity to visit the city.
La ciudad de Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, hasta el nuevo milenio se consideraba como unas de las mejores ciudades planificadas y donde el progreso de la misma avanzaba con ritmo acelerado. Así como he mostrado en otras publicaciones, como la construcción de un centro comercial de gran envergadura como lo fue Orinokia Mall, aunque en ciertos años hubo un declive en las construcciones y quizás la edificación del Hotel Plaza Merú, se pudiera considerar como unos de las últimas construcciones modernas de la ciudad.
Este edificio, que no es característico por tener una gran altitud, pero que su imagen se plasma imponente por su diseño y construcción en la ciudad. Se trata de una edificación, donde funciona como hotel 5 estrellas, que últimamente ha sido reconocido por la excelencia de sus instalaciones y servicios. Aunque en mi caso nunca me he quedado en dicho hotel, por referencias de conocidos o incluso de Internet, se puede obtener buenas recomendaciones. Por lo tanto esta reseña sirve como recomendación del Hotel Plaza Merú, como un lugar recomendado, para quienes en algún momento tengan la oportunidad de visitar la ciudad.
Among the clear advantages of staying at this hotel, is due to its strategic location, and is that in part its planning, was built in a very central area, and close to shopping centers like the Orinokia Mall, which is just across the street, apart from its proximity to the Manuel Piar International Airport in the city of Puerto Ordaz and the bus terminal, it is certainly a hotel that offers the convenience of its services and the nearby availability of other important locations in the city.
Now, on the other hand, as I was saying, we are not seeing a building of great magnitude as in other countries, but very characteristic for its design, as we see in the photographs, you can appreciate the design of its structures in the form of stairs, as well as the presence of all its glass facade, which makes it very harmonious and modern view.
Entre las ventajas claras, de quedarse en este hotel, se debe a su localización estratégica, y es que en parte su planificación, hizo que se construyera en una zona muy céntrica, y cercanas a centros comerciales como el Orinokia Mall, que se encuentra apenas cruzando la calle, aparte su cercanía hacia el aeropuerto internacional Manuel Piar de la ciudad de Puerto Ordaz y el terminal de bus, sin duda es un hotel, que ofrece la comodidad de sus servicios y la disposición cercana de otras locaciones importantes de la ciudad.
Ahora, por otro lado, como bien decía, no estamos viendo un edificio de gran magnitud como en otros países, pero sí muy característico por su diseño, así como vemos en las fotografías, se puede apreciar el diseño de su estructuras en forma de escaleras, así como también la presencia de toda su fachada de cristal, que hace muy armónico su vista y moderno.
This building has a total of 18 floors, consisting of conventional and presidential rooms or suites to larger and luxurious, and also has an entertainment area and a swimming pool located at the top of the building outdoors. A place that would be perfect to show it in photographs, but I did not have the opportunity to go to that specific place in the hotel. On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that this structure was built by the architectural and engineering firm MDT Group, who have also been in charge of the design and construction of many buildings especially in the capital of the country Caracas, characterized by creating modern structures, which are suitable for the layout of the spaces available for the construction of buildings.
Dicha edificación cuenta con un total de 18 pisos, conformados entre habitaciones o suites convencionales y presidenciales a mayor tamaño y lujo, así como también cuenta con una área de entretenimiento y una piscina ubicándose en la parte de arriba del edificio al aire libre. Lugar que fuese sido perfecta para mostrarla en fotografías, pero que no tuve la oportunidad de ir a ese lugar en específico del hotel. Por otro lado, hay mencionar que esta estructura se realizó por la firma arquitectónica y de ingeniería del grupo MDT, quienes también se han encargado en el diseño y construcción de muchas edificaciones sobre todo en la capital del país Caracas, caracterizados por crear estructuras modernas, que se adecuan por la disposición de los espacios disponibles para la construcción de las edificaciones.
Finally, as a complement to this review and photographs, I uploaded a short video with a sequence of photographs of the hotel, so that it is more dynamic and harmonious to appreciate the construction of the Hotel Plaza Meru.
