My granddaughters have started their winter holidays ... another one. On such a day, we could not sit at home. We went to the pond, which is not far from our house. While the granddaughters were merrily rolling down the slides on their boards, I began a little shadow hunt.
У моих внучек начались зимние каникулы...очередные. В такой день мы не могли сидеть дома. Мы пошли на пруд, который находится недалеко от нашего дома. Пока внучки весело катались с горок на своих досках, я начал небольшую охоту за тенями.

And this is the railing of the stairs leading to the very shore of the pond.
А это уже перила лестницы, ведущей на самый берег пруда.
And these are the same railings, but last night ... yes, at night we also ride downhill on boards.
А это те же самые перила, но вчера ночью...да, по ночам мы тоже катаемся с горки на досках.
Instead of the sun, streetlights work at night. But that is another story.
