Shadow Hunters Contest | Round 163 | Reflection of a Shadow

in Shadow Hunters3 years ago

The best shadow isn't one that we find on land but the ones that we capture on still water like this. Especially when the sun slowly sets and the reflection of the shadow of these coconut trees are seen surfacing on top of the pool.

Not bad for my first entry to the Shadow World though when I first saw this post, I was thinking more of Shadow Hunters - Mortal Instruments; one of my favourite books and tv series too 😆

I took this photo about 2 years ago when I was visiting Phu Quoc - Fusion Resort. One of the many beautiful, untapped island in the southern of Vietnam. Absolutely amazing and serene.

What a lovely reflection photo! Or are those shadows in the water? It's always hard to tell with water photos! I have never seen the Shadow Hunters TV series. I should probably watch one, especially with your recommendation.

Oh yes.. those shadows are in the water. We always see shadows on dry land.
I've yet to capture a shadow in air like the clouds. That will be a huge challenge indeed.
You've got to watch the tv series. It's on Netflix, if you subscribe to it.
I much prefer the books - let your imagination run wild

I definitely prefer books over TV. Give me a title to start with and author?

To be honest, I haven't actually held a book for quite sometime though I have a library of books back home.
Somehow, having books around, makes me feel more intelligent :)
Plus my eyesight ain't very good anymore. I have to use reading glasses if I want to read.

I borrow ebooks from my library and read them on my Kindle. Then I can make the font as big as I need it to be!
