Shadow Hunters Contest Round 116- Win ESTM UFM Hive and Resteems!
My shadow today is one I found when looking back over a vacation we had with our granddaughter several years ago. She wanted to visit the beach. We took her out for a day trip. She loves the beach as we do. She thinks she's accomplishing a lot by hanging around the edge the entire time. Getting her to come out of the water for any length of time to take her picture is not easy.
When she finally decided to come out of the water for refreshments, I hurried ahead of her to retrieve the camera from our tent. We were able to successfuly get a nice surprise photo. I didn't realize until later that grandpa also got a surprise as the outline of his image with his camera posed to capture the moment was cast upon the sand.
You can see the outline of his sunhat in the shadow. You can also see her thin shawdow halfway on the beach, then the other half upon the water. Not only that, we had an awesome time at the beach with granddaughter.
I've looked at her beach picture numerous times. But it wasn't until I joined in the Shadow Hunter's contest that I began noticing the shawdows I encountered everywhere.
