Inicios del año 2020 tuve un viaje turístico a la ciudad de cumana estado Sucre aquí en país Venezuela.
At the beginning of the year 2020 I had a tourist trip to the city of Cumana, Sucre state here in Venezuela.
Aprovechando que aun no habían puesto cuarenta en mi país porque no sabía aun que el Covid-19 iba a tener tanta expansión hasta llegar al punto de considerarla una pandemia.
I took advantage of the fact that they had not yet put forty in my country because I did not know yet that Covid-19 was going to have so much expansion to the point of considering it a pandemic.
Este viaje los hice con mis compañeros trabajo en ese entonces, cada quien podía llevar un acompañante y vista que no pude llevar a mi hermana porque estaba indispuesta para viajar invite a mi amiga Diana, porque tenía tiempo sin verla ya que ella se encontraba fuera del país y pasamos mucho tiempo distanciadas.
This trip I made with my work colleagues at that time, each one could bring a companion and since I could not take my sister because she was indisposed to travel I invited my friend Diana, because I had not seen her for a long time since she was out of the country and we spent a lot of time apart.

Diana es una de mis mejores amigas conservamos una linda amistad desde hace un poco más 15 años, la conozco desde que estábamos finalizando la escuela primaria y a pesar que nos estudiamos juntas en el liceo si jugamos en el mismo equipo de futbol donde fue que consolidamos nuestra amistad que mantenemos hasta el día de hoy, este día de playa lo disfrutamos al máximo, jugamos futbol entre todos, también jugamos voleibol y sinceramente hablando para esa vez yo tenía algunos dos años que no visitaba el mar y mucho menos Cumaná.
Diana is one of my best friends, we have had a beautiful friendship for a little over 15 years, I have known her since we were finishing elementary school and although we studied together in high school we played in the same soccer team where we consolidated our friendship that we maintain to this day, this beach day we enjoyed it to the fullest, we played soccer together, we also played volleyball and honestly speaking for that time I had some two years I had not visited the sea and much less Cumana.

I really like to visit the sea and Cumana because there I have many memories of my childhood and my relatives who are very dear to me.
Observando ese bote podía recordar a mi tío Orlando y el "Yenco" ese es el nombre de bote de mi familia y se venían a mi mente todas a veces que iba con el de pesca donde sin yo saber nada me decía que lanzara los anzuelos y podía yo pescar unas cabañas que luego nos degustaríamos en una rica sopa, asadas o fritas en sartén a la orilla de la playa que lindos recuerdos tristemente mi tío tuvo que partir repentinamente lo extraño mucho.
Observing that boat I could remember my uncle Orlando and the "Yenco" that is the name of my family's boat and came to my mind all the times I went fishing with him where without me knowing anything he told me to throw the hooks and I could catch some huts that later we would taste in a delicious soup, roasted or fried in a pan on the shore of the beach what nice memories sadly my uncle had to leave suddenly I miss him very much.
Visitar cumana me hace recordar cuando mi abuela Josefita me pasaba buscando por mi casa para irnos de vacaciones y pasar lindos día junto con mis primos y mis tíos y tías que al saber de mi llegada no dudaban en consentirme.
Visiting Cumana makes me remember when my grandmother Josefita used to come by my house looking for me to go on vacation and spend beautiful days with my cousins and my uncles and aunts who, when they knew of my arrival, did not hesitate to spoil me.
También recuerdo los meses de Enero en los que me iba con mi mamá y mis hermanas a iniciar un nuevo año, teníamos que echarnos un bañito de playa porque saben que dice que el mar quita la "mala pava" y había que ir dejar todo lo malo del año anterior en un chapuzón que tenias que realizar siete veces seguidas lanzándote de espaldas y al salirte no tenias que ver para atras porque si o este ritual no iba a servir (risas).
I also remember the months of January when I would go with my mom and my sisters to start a new year, we had to take a bath at the beach because they say that the sea takes away the "mala pava" and you had to leave all the bad things of the previous year in a dip that you had to do seven times in a row throwing yourself backwards and when you got out you did not have to look back or this ritual was not going to work (laughs).
Hoy en día muchas de estas cosas han cambiado ya casi no podemos ir de vacaciones la situación económica del pais ha afectado mucho nuestra familia y estas actividades que prácticamente eran cotidianas para nosotros no las hemos podido realizar con tanta frecuencia.
Today many of these things have changed and we can hardly go on vacation, the economic situation of the country has greatly affected our family and these activities that were almost daily for us have not been able to do so often.

Estoy segura que si visitara Cumaná nuevamente me llenaría de mucha nostalgia y tristeza mi abuela Josefita tuvo que partir de este mundo y sus restos descansa en esta Ciudad del estado Sucre y cuando ella murió no pude ir a darle el ultimo adiós y ver su rostro bueno y gentil por ultima vez.
I am sure that if I were to visit Cumana again I would be filled with nostalgia and sadness, my grandmother Josefita had to leave this world and her remains rest in this city of Sucre state and when she died I could not go to say goodbye and see her good and gentle face for the last time.

Pero sin duda siempre es maravilloso visitar estas tierras y estar en unión con la tranquilidad que te ofrece el mar y recordar los buenos y bellos momentos que pase y donde tengo gratos recuerdos de infancia.
But undoubtedly it is always wonderful to visit these lands and be in union with the tranquility that the sea offers you and remember the good and beautiful moments I spent and where I have fond childhood memories.

Memories tend to become gentler as time passes. The memories of the loss of a loved one and not being able to be with them at the time of their departure is very painful, for sure.
I have a feeling, as time races by, the memories of your grandmother will only be ones that fill your heart with warmth and love.
We are the fortunate ones, the ones that feel the pain of losing someone who we cared so much for and the feeling was mutual.
Too many people in this world are not loved or have no one to love.
