Christmas tree. REFLECTION CONTEST. Round 96

Hello everyone in the new year! Everything is so beautifully decorated around, sparkling lights and garlands. Some of the people decorate the whole house and at night it is lit up with different colors. It's a magical time, because festive New Year's music is playing around, people are greeting each other. Another year of life behind. I was scared on New Year's Eve, when the sounds of fireworks rang out from everywhere. In my country it is forbidden to use fireworks because there is a war in the country. Now veterans and soldiers of the Ukrainian army live among the civilian population. And it will be unpleasant for the soldiers to hear and remember the days of the war. I hated to hear that too.
The whole world lives an ordinary life, rejoices in the new year, people are used to buying fireworks. Nothing has changed for them, everyone has a New Year's holiday. I am trying to understand and explain it to myself.
I'm sorry for trying to express myself in such a way. But what would you do in my place, if your land, nation, history and language were destroyed?
My son also wants holidays. He covered his little ears and watched the fireworks. And believe me, they sounded from everywhere.
Earlier we saw a reflection of a Christmas tree near the supermarket. And it seemed to me again that the reflection is better than the original.

Привіт усім в новому році! Так гарно все прикрашено навкруги, виблискують вогні і гірлянди. Дехто з людей весь будинок прикрашає і вночі він освітлюється різними кольорами. Чарівний час, бо навколо звучить святкова новорічна музика, люди вітають один одного. Ще один рік життя позаду. Мені було страшно в новорічну ніч, коли лунали звідусіль звуки від феєрверків. В моїй країні заборонено використовувати феєрверки, тому що в країні війна. Зараз по-між мирним населенням живуть ветерани і воїни української армії. І воїнам буде неприємно чути і згадувати дні війни. Мені також було неприємно це чути.
Весь світ живе звичайним життям, радіє новому року, люди звикли купляти феєрверки. Для них нічого не змінилося, у всіх новорічне свято. Я це намагаюся зрозуміти і пояснити для себе.
Вибачте, що намагаюся таким способом виговоритися. Але щоб ви робили на моєму місці, якщо б вашу землю, націю, історію і мову знищували?
Моєму синові також хочеться свята. Він закривав свої маленькі вушка і уважно дивився на спалахи феєрверків. А вони, повірте, звучали звідусіль.
Раніше ми побачили біля супермаркету відображення ялинки. І мені здалося знову, що відображення гарніше за оригінал.
