Standing near my window and sipping cup of tea, I noticed the beautiful colourful sky above the opposite appartmeny. It was a Rainbow Arc just above the top of the building.
A rainbow is the result of light passing through a spectrum – in most cases, a collection of raindrops – and, therefore, having that light broken up and reflected / refracted into individual colors.
I remember, in my childhood, we always get attracted with the beautiful formation. The natural colour spread across the sky. To see a rainbow, you must have the sun shining behind you and the water droplets in front of you. So most of the time, it appears after the noon rainfall. Generally, a rainbow has 7 colours, (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) however few of them are hidden. These colours always form the same sequence in sky. Interestingly many a times two different people observe a rainbow differently.
Afterall nature's always plays, some beautiful games, and rainbow is one such natural occurrence. This is my entry to reflection hunter contest #29. I see this is a magical beauyiful natural occurrence of sunlight reflection on disperse water droplets in the atmosphere.
