As I have always mentioned in many of my photography publications, without light it is not possible to compose in photography, let alone to capture reflections and shadows of human figures or objects in general. During the day outdoors, it is much easier to find any reflection or shadow, between buildings, glass, structures and other things, just take advantage of natural daylight, while at night it is more difficult to do this type of photography, but with a certain configuration of the camera and some artificial light, you can capture some images.
It is here where I show a series of photographs during the day and others at night, taking advantage of other elements such as water to get that reflection that I wanted to capture. I have practically built a large portfolio of photographs of shadows and reflections, a style of photography that has interested me at the moment, because of the search to compose shapes between those shadows and reflections.
Como siempre he mencionado en muchas de mis publicaciones de fotografías, sin la luz no es posible componer en la fotografía, y mucho menos para captar reflejos y sombras de figuras humanas u objetos en general. Durante el día en exteriores, es mucho más fácil encontrar cualquier reflejo o sombra, entre edificios, vidrios, estructuras y entre otras cosas, solo basta aprovechar la luz natural del día, mientras que de noche es más difícil de hacer este tipo de fotografía, pero con una cierta configuración de la cámara y algo de luz artificial, se puede capturar algunas imagenes.
Es aquí donde muestro una serie de fotografías durante el día y otras de noche, aprovechando otros elementos como el agua para obtener ese reflejo que quise capturar. Prácticamente he construido un portafolio amplio de fotografías de sombras y reflejos, estilo de fotografía que me ha interesado en este momento, por la búsqueda de componer formas entre esas sombras y reflejos.
On the other hand, windows of any kind of structure and building will always be a resource to obtain reflections, and suddenly compose an interesting image within what can be considered as a window frame. It can be other buildings or structures that are in front of those windows, or simply appreciate the sky with certain clouds, as if it were an impressionist painting.
Por otra parte menciono, que las ventanas de cualquier tipo de estructura y edificio, siempre serán un recurdo para obtener reflejos, y de repente componer una imagen interesante dentro de lo que se puede considerar como encuadre de la ventana. Puede ser otras edificaciones o estructuras que de anteponen a esas ventanas, o simplemente apreciar el cielo com ciertas nubes, como si se tratará de una pintura impresionista.
Now finally I show these last 3 pictures of reflections at night, where it is usually more difficult to take pictures, because of the simple fact that there is no light for the camera to process the image, although you can set the speed to long exposure and the ISO or higher sensitivity.
So with certain settings and a little artificial light, as in the case of one of the photographs, I took advantage of the light from the car, which was reflected in some water on the asphalt, I was able to capture the desired reflection, and among the other photographic compositions, I was looking for the same photographic motif.
Ahora por último muestro éstas 3 últimas fotografías de reflejos durante la noche, por lo que suele ser más difícil hacer fotografías, por el simple hecho de que existe ausencia de luz necesaria para que la cámara pueda procesar la imagen, aunque se puede configurar la velocidad a larga exposición y el ISO o sensibilidad más alta.
Es así con ciertas configuración y un poco de luz artificial, como en el caso de una de las fotografías, que aproveche la luz del carro, que se reflejaban en un poco de agua que había sobre el asfalto, pude captar ese reflejo deseado, y entre las otras composiciones fotográficas, que buscaba el mismo motivo fotográfico.
