por aquellos que ya no están
por aquellos que ya partieron de este mundo
por los que tenían una palabra de luz
en momentos de oscuridad
esos que tenían brazos abiertos
en momentos de soledad
los que dieron abrigo aunque ellos temblaban de frió
por aquellos que nos cargaron entre los espinos
y sostuvieron fuerte nuestras manos en la enfermedad
esos que a pesar del miedo nos enseñaron a luchar
nos mostraron sus heridas y cubrieron nuestras faltas
que aunque hubiese dolor su sonrisa no flaqueaba
que avanzaron fuertemente a pesar de los tropiezos
y si el día era negro pintaban a color nuestros sueños
como no expresar las gracias antes estos héroes mortales
que en sus canas doradas la excelencia era notable
que abonaron el camino y nosotros somos el fruto
de una constante lucha de experiencia absoluta
por quienes ahora caen nuestras lagrimas
pero no nuestro animo
por que sabemos que en vida ganaron un lugar
inamovible en este universo
y en nuestro corazón por siempre
por ellos seguiremos luchando
así como ellos en sus muchos días nos enseñaron
gracias por cada segundo brindado
y por supuesto nada fue en vano
porque esta alma guerrera seguirá tu ardiente legado

for those who are no longer here
for those who have departed from this world
for those who had a word of light
in moments of darkness
those who had open arms
in moments of loneliness
those who gave shelter even though they were shivering with cold
for those who carried us among the thorns
and held our hands in sickness
those who in spite of fear taught us how to fight
showed us their wounds and covered our faults
who though there was pain their smile did not falter
who advanced strongly in spite of the stumbles
and if the day was black they painted our dreams in color.
how not to express our gratitude to these mortal heroes
who in their golden gray hairs the excellence was remarkable
who paved the way and we are the fruit
of a constant struggle of absolute experience
for whom now our tears fall
but not our courage
because we know that in life they won an immovable place in this universe.
and in our hearts forever
for them we will continue to fight
as they taught us in their many days.
thank you for every second given
and of course nothing was in vain
because this warrior soul will follow your burning legacy
