Como lo prometido es deuda, el papá de Jaimito lo acompañó el sábado siguiente a sus prácticas de béisbol. Su mamá y su abuela esta vez se quedaron en casa en las labores del hogar.
Al llegar al estadio lo primero que hizo Jaimito, fue presentarle a su papá al entrenador. Intercambian algunas palabras y el papá se sienta en las gradas para observar las prácticas.
A Jaimito lo que más le gusta es batear. Ese día se esmeró mucho en sus prácticas porque quería que su papá se sintiera orgulloso de él. Y lo logró ya que al final de las mismas, el entrenador felicitó a todos los niños y muy en especial a Jaimito por su destacada labor.
A Jaimito se le pusieron las mejillas rojas por el sol y por la alegría que le produjo el hecho de que su profesor lo felicitara delante de su papá.

As promised is a debt, Jaimito's father accompanied him the following Saturday to his baseball practice. His mother and grandmother this time stayed at home doing housework. When they got to the stadium, the first thing Jaimito did was introduce his dad to the coach. They exchange a few words and Dad sits in the stands to watch the practices.
What Jaimito likes the most is hitting. That day he took great care in his practices because he wanted his dad to be proud of him. And he did it because at the end of them, the coach congratulated all the children and especially Jaimito for his outstanding work.
