Brielle make her way to the gym and although it took a while, she found Peter.
"Let's talk" she said, not bothered by the fact that she's in the midst of guys who are all half naked including Peter.
"About what?" Peter ask, leaving what he is doing to join her.
"Let's talk outside"
"Brielle I..."
"Meet me outside or I swear I will make a scene in here!" Brielle threaten before walking out.
Reluctantly, Peter pull on his vest and follow her.
She was waiting along the hallway and judging by the look on her face, he can already guess what she's about to say.
"Why did you do that? Why did you have to break Ariana's heart?" Brielle ask.
"I didn't break her heart, I only told her the truth..."
"What truth? That you are in love with someone else? Do you know how much she loves you? She did everything to be by your side, even went as far as to enroll in this school just to be close to you"
"I didn't ask her to do those things" Peter retaliate.
"Did you just say that? I can't believe you" Brielle let out, ruffling her hair in frustration while trying to keep her anger in check.
"I told her right from the start that she should let go of whatever she feels for you, but the fool...kept loving you and just so things won't be awkward between you two, she has decide to leave"
"What? "
"You heard me. Ariana is leaving and don't you dare try to stop her...I'm glad she's leaving since I'm sure there's someone else out there who's going to love her the way she deserve" Brielle snap.
"Whether you believe it or not, I want that for her"
"You know we've all been together for a long time and yet Ariana and I didn't even notice that you have someone in your heart. Who is she?" Brielle can't help but to feel curious.
It's none of her business and she should be angry on Ariana's behalf, but Brielle want to know the girl who manage to steal Peter heart.
"Just someone" Peter lied, knowing if he tell Brielle that she's the one he is in love with, not only will she tell him to get lost, it will also hurt Ariana.
"I get it, you don't want to tell me. Well, I hope this girl is worth you throwing away Ariana's love" Brielle turn to leave missing the longing look in his gaze.
"You are worth it" Peter whisper, his eyes lingering on Brielle until she walk out of sight.
<< INSTRUCTOR OFFICE >>
Lee is sitting behind his desk, checking out some new strategy for the recruits training when the door open to admit someone.
He is so focus on what he is doing that he fail to notice the intruder until a basket filled with fruits is place on his desk.
Lee look up to see Kate standing in front of him, a smile on her face.
"What is this? A bribe?" Lee ask.
"It's actually a gift. From me to you" Kate said.
"Really? Aren't you suppose to be angry at me or Is It that you've forgotten what took place in your room this morning?" Lee remind.
"Are you referring to when you practically drool over me when I took off my night gown in front of you?" Kate ask, doing a sexy pout.
"Drool? I definitely didn't do that. Why don't you honestly tell me what you want?" Lee said.
"You. I want you" Kate reply boldly.
"I must say, you are very brave. Why don't you channel that bravery into your training?" Lee ask and that got Kate leaning on his desk.
"Are you saying that if I make it till the end of my training period, you will agree to be my boyfriend?"
"You really do aim big"
"That's because you are worth it" Kate return with a sheepish look.
"Alright then. If you make it to the end of your training period, I will think about being yours, but until then...you should leave" he said.
"Don't forget you made me a promise today" Kate said and left.
Lee knows he won't have to fulfil the promise since Kate won't last the training period.
Meanwhile outside Lee office, Kate lips tilt in a cruel smile.
Men like Lee have always been a challenge for a playgirl like her.
The more they try to resist, the more she do her best to get them and they do fall, they fall so hard that she ends up discarding them.
Same thing will happen to instructor Lee. He will fall so hard for her and then she will discard him.
That will dent his pompous ego a bit.

"So, will you stay?" Luke ask once again and Ariana can see the genuine look on his face.
He really wants her to stay, but staying here will have her seeing Peter and that's something she wants to avoid.
"I'm sorry, but I..." In a flash, Luke cover the distance between them, pulling her into his arms to claim her lips.
Ariana knew the right thing to do is to put an end to the kiss. She should try to push him away or better yet, she should knee him in the groin for taking such liberty with her, but she can't do it not when he is kissing her senseless.
Not when he has his tongue in her mouth. Not when he keeps sucking and licking her lips and definitely not when the kiss feels so damn good.
"Why did you do that?" Ariana ask when he pull back, his arms still wrap around her slender frame.
"To stop you from leaving and...I'm glad I did" he said starring over her head. Ariana follow his gaze to see the bus leaving.
"Oh no! Luke!" She call, hitting him on the chest and that got him smiling in return.
"You can't leave me, Ariana. I won't allow it" Luke said, resting his forehead against her.
Ariana breathe in his cologne, feeling intoxicated.
"Do you want me to expel Peter?"
"You will do that?"
"I will do anything for you, Princess. Just say the word" He said, kissing her lightly on the neck.
Ariana pull away from him, putting a few distance between them.
"I don't want Peter to leave and I won't leave. Since I'm here, I better take a shot at things, I might even enjoy being in the army" Ariana said.
"That's fine with me as long as you stay away from Peter. I won't have my girl swooning over her ex-crush again"
Ariana was about to correct him on the girlfriend part when she notice someone familiar walking up to them.
"Ana! My Ana!" The familiar figure call and a smile lit her face when the familiar figure gets close, enveloping her in a hug.
"What on earth are you doing here, Josh? Last thing I heard is that you've been transferred to Iraq" Ariana said when the hug came to an end.
"What do you think? I came to be with you" Joshua reply with a teasing smile.
"Yeah right. Care to tell me the truth now?" Ariana ask.
"I was preparing for Iraq when I heard about you joining the military, so I made a request to be transferred here. I can't miss teaching you some manner young lady" Joshua reply, ruffling Ariana hair.
A loud cough from Luke got the two starring at him and as soon as Joshua lay eyes on Luke, he immediately give a salute.
"At ease. I can see you two know each other" Luke said, stopping himself from pulling Ariana away from Joshua side.
"We do. I am this girl future husband" Joshua said trying to tease, but on seeing the angry look on the captain face, he immediately refrain his words. " I'm close friends with her brother, sir" Axel said.
"Take your things back to your room" Luke said to Ariana and when she hesitate, he added hotly, "Do you want me to do it for you?"
Knowing he is capable of doing such a thing, Ariana left.
Luke head to back to his office with Joshua following closely. As soon as they walk indoor, Joshua begin.
"Can I ask for a request, sir?"
"If it's within my power" Luke reply, assessing the pretty looking guy while raging with jealousy.
"Can you let me train the new recruits along side sergeant Lee?" Joshua ask.
"Making such a request on your first day is...."
"I know it's rude of me to ask for a request on my first day here, but I really want to train the new recruits, sir" Joshua interrupt.
"Why?"
"You saw the girl from earlier. Truth is that I'm actually here because of her, I like her a lot and will like to spend more time with her" Joshua reveal.
Luke sit back in his chair, folding his arms against his chest to stare at his new rival.
"Seems like we've got a new problem"

<< CAPTAIN OFFICE >>
"Problem?" Joshua ask not missing Luke word.
"Is that girl the only reason you came here cause I believe that as soldiers we are meant to be in love with our country. To be willing to die for it and not to use it as a means to chase a girl" Luke reprimand the guy while chastising himself since he doing the same thing.
On hearing that Joshua stand up, saluting him and giving an apology.
"I'm sorry sir! I should have been more thoughtful"
"I won't grant your request not because I'm being cruel, but because I am thinking of that girl. She is part of the new recruit who needs her focus to get into the academy, she doesn't need further distraction"
"I'm a fool. I should know better than anyone that this eight week training is very important to her. I will keep my distance for now" Joshua said with a smile and that got Luke starring at him.
"For now?"
"Ariana is too good to give up and so, once she gets in, I will officially begin my pursuit and knowing that I have your support means a lot to me" Joshua said making Luke totally speechless.
"You..."
"I will take my leave, sir. I will be at the medical care facility if you need anything" Joshua said leaving the room before Luke can correct him on support thing.
<< DIANE OFFICE >>
"She didn't leave? I thought you said she will!" Diane said, hitting her desk in anger.
"That's the same thing I heard, but then the dorm coordinator called to tell me she didn't leave" said Caroline. one of the assistant instructor and a close friend to Diane.
"Just when I thought it's all over. If she stays then Luke will keep obsessing over her" Diane complain.
"Why don't we give her a reason to leave" Caroline suggest while Diane contemplate this new idea.
"You are right. If she doesn't want to leave on her own freewill why don't I give her a reason to? I'm having a class with the new recruits today, right?" Diane ask.
"Schedule by one in the afternoon"
"Good cause have got something plan" Diane said with a smile.
<< FEMALE DORM >>
"I'm glad you didn't go" Brielle said, her arms wrap around Ariana as they are both seated on her bed.
"Well I'm glad I won't have to share this room alone with that maniac and don't think I'm going to leave this bed, it's no longer yours" Kate said now lying on Ariana bed having move her things there when Ariana decide to leave earlier.
"If I'm a maniac then you are a psycho and I'm glad as well that I don't have the share the room with you!" Brielle snap only to recieve a f**k you finger from Kate.
Ariana laugh.
"Did Evan stop you? I bet he did after the scolding I gave him. He must have realize that you mean more to him than this so called girl he's inlove with" Brielle said.
"I will bet all my worldly possession that it's the captain doing. He must have chase you to the bus while declaring heaven and earth" Kate chip in.
"If he did then it's so romantic! Tell us, did he kiss you while asking you to stay?" Brielle gush while Ariana remember the kiss she share with Luke.
It's her first kiss and a very hot kiss to be precise...Ariana thought.
"To be honest, tell me how you seduce the guy?" Kate ask, sitting up on the bed.
"What makes you think she seduce him?" Brielle demand.
"That's what everyone is saying"
"Everyone?" Ariana ask, jolting out of her thoughts to focus on what Kate is saying.
"Yeah. They say he wouldn't have look at you if you didn't seduce him"
"Who are those jerks? Bring them all to me! How can they say such horrible things about her?" Brielle burst out.
"So you are saying she didn't seduce him?"
"She didn't! And you should keep nasty rumour like that to yourself" Brielle snap.
"Alright, If you say so" Kate said going back to flicking the school magazine.
"Just let it go" Ariana said, trying to calm Brielle before another fight ensue between them.
"What are you looking at?" Ariana ask, changing the subject.
"The military school, it's quite enormous from what have read here" Kate said.
"After our eight weeks training. This is where we go?" Ariana ask sitting next to Kate to check the magazine out.
"Why haven't I seen anything of it?" Brielle ask.
"That's because the school ground is different from the training ground. We get to go there once we are finish our training. Do you think I have a chance at getting in?" Kate ask.
"Just forget about it. You will be the first to be sent packing" Brielle taunt earning a angry look from Kate who close her magazine.
"Don't worry, I won't be sent packing, I made a deal with someone and I need to win" Kate mutter the last part to herself just as one of the female instructor kick at their door.
"It's time for your first class, head to the training hall" the soldier bark at them and immediately they are on their way.
<< CAPTAIN OFFICE >>
"This is new training plan I made yesterday, sir" Lee said handing Luke a sheet of paper.
"Isn't this kind of extreme?" Luke ask checking out the list he made on the close order drill and combat drill.
"Its the right drilling plan for newbies" Lee said in return.
"Why do I feel that there's more to this plan you made? It's like you want them all to fail" Luke said wistfully.
"Well I...it's just...you are right. The plan was made so I can get someone off my back. She's got this crazy idea that if she pass the training, I will have to fulfil her our deal"
"And what's this deal?" Luke ask feeling curious.
"She...If she gets in then I will be her boyfriend and if she fails then I don't have to fulfil it" Lee told him, having always been comfortable around Luke.
"That doesn't seem like a bad deal"
"It is! The girl is crazy and she's definitely not my type" Lee said quickly.
Smiling, Luke said, "Alright. Once I process this, I will get back to you"
As soon as Lee left, Luke can't help thinking about what he said most especially the deal making part.
<< TRAINING HALL >>
The hall room is filled with ninety four recruits along with some of the training instructor.
Smart up in her uniform, Diane walk into the room, wearing one of her most dazzling smile.
"I am instructor Diane Edward and I will be training you in the course of leadership and command. The subject will be boring so feel free to sleep" Diane said.
The recruits laugh.
While Diane teach, some of the students begin to doze off including Kate and Brielle sitting next to Ariana who payed attention.
When the class came to an end, the lights came back on and everyone stood up to leave, but Caroline, one of the assisting instructor order them to sit down.
"While class was going, some of you were sleeping. If you know you are one of the fools who decided to take a nap, get your @ss up and take your punishment" Caroline said.
Few recruits stood up including Kate and Brielle who curse their luck for believing Diane when she told them to sleep.
"If I have to pick you myself, you will be punish severely" Caroline warn and more recruits stood up.
Seeing Ariana sitting, Caroline walk up to her desk.
"Why are you still sitting?" Caroline demand.
" I wasn't sleeping" Ariana said.
"How dare you answer me while still being sitted!" Caroline yell and immediately Ariana stood up.
"I caught you sleeping and yet you deny it to my face!"
"I wasn't sleeping. I was wide awake when the class was going" Ariana said defending herself.
Diane approach them and when she got to Ariana desk, she gave her a kick on the leg.
"You don't talk back to an instructor! Haven't Lee been teaching you anything?" Diane demand watching Ariana clutch her leg in pain.
"Since she refuse to say the truth while not make her an example to everyone here. Let her take everyone's punishment" Diane order and immediately, Arianna was drawn out of the room by two other instructor.
"She will be a good example to the fools who attend my class in the future. She's only being punish this time, but once you are caught sleeping In my class, you will be sent packing, do I make myself clear?"
"Yes ma'am" came the loud reply.
<< DIANE OFFICE >>
"I wasn't sleeping" Ariana said once Diane walk into her office.
"I know" Diane reply, a smug look on her face.
"Then why..."
"Why? Let's just say I want to teach you a lesson. You think cause the captain has got your back you can do whatever you want? Think again sweetheart cause I won't let you succeed. For as long as the captain keeps defending you, I will keep sabotaging you like I did today until you leave this place for good"
"You..."
"Save whatever you have to say. I'm not interested. Caroline!" Diane call and immediately, Caroline walk in with two assisting instructor.
"It's two thirty now, make her run around the field until nine thirty. She needs time to think about her mistake today" Diane said, a smirk tilting her lips.
Half an hour later, Diane is in her office, working on some paper work when the door open, admitting Luke.
"Took you long" Diane said softly.
"Why the hell are you punishing one of the recruits without my authorization?"
"Do I need to ask your permission before punishing a recruit or is it that it's because this so called recruit is the girl you are obsess with?" Diane ask.
"Cut the crap and put the punishment to an end"
"I won't! She misbehave in my class and so I have the right to punish her" Diane yell at him.
"Fine then. I decided to let you save face by coming here myself, I will just have to do it on my own"
"If you go now, you will be putting her in more risk" Diane said making him stop.
"She's the captain girl. She's got the captain back. She seduce him and will do the same with other instructors! Those are the rumour going around about her. If you meddle in this now, her peers will forever mock her and she will end up leaving. Is that what you want?" Diane ask and when she sees the hesitation in his eyes, she quickly move towards him taking hold of his hand.
"It's better you stop meddling with that girl. It's the right thing to do" Diane added softly.
<< EVENING ~ FIELD >>
Ariana has been running around the field for hours now and though her limb are weakening, she won't stop until she has complete her nine hour punishment.
All this is happening because of Diane jealousy towards her.
If only Luke hadn't look her way then she won't be bullied by Diane or her dogs.
She should have left when she had the chance. Now, Diane will keep bullying her until she leave.
"And you are done! Get back to your dorm and prepare for the night" the assisting instructor watching over her said before leaving the field.
Ariana stood alone, trying to steady her breathing.
"Are you okay?" On hearing the captain, Ariana stare at him.
"I thought you might need this" Luke said, stretching a bottle water to her.
"Are you sure she's not watching? She might see me take this and decide to punish me for it" Ariana said, walking past him but he took hold of her arm.
"Don't you see that people are talking about me because of you? They keep saying I seduce you when it's not true!" Ariana jerk away from his hold.
"Let them say what they want, we both know the truth. We both know that I'm the one doing the chasing" Luke said.
"Then please stop the chasing and leave me alone!" Ariana snap
"I can't do that, You know I can't princess"
"But I don't feel the same way!"
"Give me the chance to make you feel it then" he burst out, covering the distance between them.
"Why don't we make a deal" Luke said while she stare at him in silence.
"You give me the chance to convince you that we are good together during your eight week training. If I don't succeed then I will back off for good, I will leave you alone like you want" he said.
"What if I don't want to take part in this deal at all?" Ariana ask.
"Well, I'm sorry to tell you, baby. I will keep pestering you even if you keep hating me for it. So how about you take part in this deal with me? I give my word to leave you alone if I don't succeed in convincing you,but If I do convince you then you are mine.... Now give me your answer "
