Sin poder ahora mirar
ni un poco para los lados,

Without being able now to look even a little bit sideways,
Pati-Pati began to deliver the packages on time.
“I will not be late,” repeated our duckling,
although a natural desire to explore the world, even if just a little, was fighting to get out.

El patito mensajero
empezó a ganarse premios.
usaba todos los medios
para llegar de primero.
si escuchaba algún coplero,
se hacia el loco y continuaba.
Un cliente ansioso esperaba
que él cumpliera su deber
y él quería complacer
a quien trabajo le daba.
The messenger duckling began to win prizes.
He used every means to come in first.
If he heard any songster, he would ignore them and move on.
An anxious customer was waiting for him to do his duty
and he wanted to please his bosses.
