Recién anteayer la talentosa hiver @georgelys subió una iniciativa sobre poesía. Un tema que me apasiona muchísimo, y del que ya he hablado anteriormente.
Hoy, gracias a esta iniciativa, tengo la oportunidad de dar paso a mis tres poemas favoritos. Una difícil elección, la verdad, pero haré mi mayor esfuerzo.
Todos están invitados a participar, no necesitan haber leído demasiados poemas. La idea es compartir, y descubrir nuevos poetas. A mi me emociona mucho esa idea. Aquí estaré dejando el link al post original.
Ahora, sin más preámbulos, comencemos.
Just the day before yesterday the talented hiver @georgelys uploaded an initiative about poetry. A subject that I am very passionate about, and that I have talked about before.
Today, thanks to this initiative, I have the opportunity to give way to my three favorite poems. A difficult choice, to be honest, but I will do my best.
Everyone is invited to participate, you don't need to have read too many poems. The idea is to share, and to discover new poets. I am very excited about this idea. Here I will be leaving the link to the original post.
Now, without further ado, let's get started.
Aunque este pequeño top no va en un orden de mejor a peor, debo admitir que comencé con el poeta Andrés Eloy Blanco, por ser el autor de la poesía que leí -a voluntad propia- por primera vez en mi vida. En un post anterior hablo sobre ello, y como este hombre me hizo enamorarme de sus versos.
Es muy difícil elegir tan solo un poema de él, tiene demasiados poemas buenos, pero elegiré uno que me enamoro a primera leída: Coplas del Amor Viajero.
No sé si me olvidarás
ni si es amor este miedo;
yo solo sé que te vas,
yo solo sé que me quedo.

Although this little top does not go in an order from best to worst, I must admit that I started with the poet Andrés Eloy Blanco, for being the author of the poetry that I read -of my own free will- for the first time in my life. In a previous post I talk about it, and how this man made me fall in love with his verses.
It is very difficult to choose just one poem of his, he has too many good poems, but I will choose one that made me fall in love at first read: Coplas del Amor Viajero.

Rubén Darío también es uno de los primeros poetas que leí, y aunque su poesía al principio me costo un poco digerirla, hoy día puedo apreciarla mejor. Dos poemas de él se quedaron para la posterioridad en mi memoria, de esos dos elegí para este top: Los Motivos del Lobo.
Francisco responde: En el hombre existe
mala levadura.
Cuando nace viene con pecado. Es triste.
Mas el alma simple de la bestia es pura.

No quisiera revelar mucho sobre este poema, porque realmente es bueno y, creo, todos deberían leerlo.
Rubén Darío is also one of the first poets I read, and although his poetry at first I found it a little hard to digest, today I can appreciate it better. Two poems by him stayed for later in my memory, from those two I chose for this top: Los Motivos del Lobo.

I wouldn't want to reveal too much about this poem, because it really is good and, I think, everyone should read it.
De la poeta Alfonsina, aunque no he leído mucho, me he quedado con buenos poemas, como: Lo Inacabable.
No tienes tú la culpa si en tus manos
mi amor se deshojó como una rosa:
Vendrá la primavera y habrá flores...
El tronco seco dará nuevas hojas.

Es un poema corto, escrito, verso por verso, de una manera muy bonita, y sobre un tema que a todos nos incumbe: el amor.

It is a short poem, written, verse by verse, in a very beautiful way, and on a subject that concerns us all: love.
