Relámpago era un caracol que vivía en el Amazonas y siempre estaba triste, lloraba mucho, todos los días se lamentaba de su existencia, siempre veía a los otros animales correr, saltar, volar, mientras que él solo se arrastraba a una velocidad nada agradable. Además todos los otros animales eran tan rápidos que esto aumentaba su tristeza.
Cada nuevo día era para Relámpago una desgracia,tenia que lidiar con sus limitaciones y aparte de eso Relámpago solo se enfocaba en lo que no tenía y cada día pensaba más en lo que tenían los demás, nunca vio sus virtudes y dejó de agradecer hasta el hecho de vivir.
Relámpago, se pasaba los días amargado, se quejaba de su lentitud, se quejaba de su enorme caparazón, incluso se quejaba del rastro que dejaba, se decía a sí mismo:
—¡Definitivamente soy la persona más infeliz del planeta!
Un día mientras todo marchaba muy bien, algo impresionante comenzó a suceder en el cielo, empezaron a caer cubos de hielo y los animales se alarmaron, comenzaron a correr como locos, gritando:
—¡Corran por sus vidas, Vamos a morir..!
Todos los animales empezaron a correr para esconderse, la conmoción hizo que algunos animales saltaran de sus árboles, cayendo y quedando con terribles heridas, los pájaros no podían volar, porque el granizo les golpeaba fuertemente las alas y el caracol como no podía correr, saltar o volar, se enrolló y se metió en su caparazón, pensando que iba a morir.
La tormenta duró varias horas y el caracol se quedó dormido dentro de su caparazón, la tragedia total invadió la Amazonas, la tormenta fue tan fuerte que provocó una inundación, entrando en los refugios de todos los animales que vivían en la tierra, donde esconderse simplemente no funcionaba, mientras tanto Relámpago flotaba dormido entre las aguas.
Cuando toda la tormenta pasó, Relámpago se despertó y salió de su caparazón, ¡Qué gran sorpresa se llevó al ver todo lo que había pasado! ¡Ni el animal más rápido pudo escapar de aquella tormenta!
Ese día marcó un antes y un después en la vida de Relámpago y aunque sigue siendo un caracol lento y con un gran peso sobre sus hombros, ahora es un caracol feliz, ya no se queja de su desgracia o sus limitaciones, al contrario valora lo que tiene y lo que es capaz de hacer.

Besides, all the other animals were so fast that this increased his sadness.
Every new day was a misfortune for Lightning, dealing with his limitations and besides that Lightning only focused on what he didn't have and every day he thought more and more about what others had, he never saw his virtues and stopped being grateful even for the fact of living.
Lightning, he spent his days bitter, he complained about his slowness, he complained about his huge shell, he even complained about the trail he left, he said to himself:
— ¡I am definitely the unhappiest person on the planet!
One day while everything was going very well, something impressive started to happen in the sky, ice cubes started to fall, and the animals became alarmed, they started to run like crazy, screaming:
—¡Run for your lives, We're going to die..!
All the animals began to run to hide, the commotion made some animals jump from their trees, falling and being left with terrible wounds, the birds could not fly, because the hail hit their wings hard and the snail as it could not run, jump or fly, it rolled up and got into its shell, thinking it was going to die.
The storm lasted several hours and the snail fell asleep inside its shell, total tragedy invaded the Amazon, the storm was so strong that it caused a flood entering the shelters of all the animals that lived on the land, where hiding simply did not work, meanwhile Lightning floated asleep among the waters.
When the whole storm passed, Lightning woke up and came out of his shell, what a great surprise he got when he saw everything that had happened! Not even the fastest animal could escape from that storm!
That day marked a before and after in Lightning's life and although he is still a slow snail with a great weight on his shoulders, he is now a happy snail, he no longer dwells on his misfortune or his limitations, on the contrary, he values what he has and what he is capable of doing.
Amiga, un cuento que describe la realidad de muchos personas que son negativas que pinta una cara infeliz en el rostro como el de relámpago. La vida hace que valores las cosas.

Creo que todos tenemos que aprender de Relámpago. Simplemente llevar nuestro ritmo y hacer lo que deseamos y lo que nos haga más felices aunque a veces en entorno sea adverso o tengamos algunas cargas
