Hola como estan! , bienvenidos a los que son nuevos leyendo mis post, este será otro " Modo Aleh ", sobre mis experiencias con libros.
Ya vamos a empezar el mes más tenebroso y divertido , con todas las historias que podemos leer y adaptaciones que podemos leer de estos libros , aca mi post para iniciar octubre de terror .
Jinete sin cabeza
Sleepy hollow , 1784 , una historia de terror , que se ve rodeada de un espectro , que volvió de la guerra y que perdió su cabeza en una batalla , y cada noche busca su cabeza en humanos . El profesor Ichabod Crane , que tambien vivia en esta zona , se enamora de la hija del adinerado Baltus Van Tassel , conocido granjero , su hija de 18 años Katrina Van Tassel , tiene otro pretendiente Abraham Van Brunt . El profesor crane , fue invitado a una reunión en la casa de los van tassel , esta noche hace que el plan de Ichabod sea pedir la mano de katrina a su padre luego de que los invitados se marchen , pero mientras la fiesta transcurre , Abraham narra las historias espeluznantes que envuelven el pueblo con los cuentos de terror de las noches oscuras . La propuesta falla para crane , y decide marcharse en la oscura noche frÃa , al cabalgar por los sitios que Brunt narraba sobre su cuento de terror , recordó la historia y empezó a sentir el miedo , y acercarse al puente cerca del cementerio , donde el jinete se aparecÃa con un fuerte olor azufre , al sentir esa presencia , cabalgó con su caballo hacia el valle , huyendo de semejante espanto , temiendo por su vida , aun asi el jinete alcanzo a crane y le lanzo su cabeza decapitada . Su ausencia hizo que katrina , terminará eligiendo a brunt para ser desposada y dejando a Ichabod fuera de su camino y el final de esta historia abierto para el lector .
Para mi entendimiento de este final , el único que sabÃa detalles y lugares sobre el jinete era Brom y justo cuenta la historia en la noche del posible compromiso de Katrina e Ichabod , este desaparece y sólo deja su caballo y sombrero , sin rastros de su humanidad . Este libro tiene varias versiones de pelÃculas , la más famosa es la de Tim Burton , con su visión oscura , es la mejor representación a mi parecer de esta novela de ficción .

Headless horseman
Sleepy hollow , 1784 , a horror story , which is surrounded by a spectre , who returned from the war and lost his head in a battle , and every night looking for his head in humans . Professor Ichabod Crane , who also lived in this area , falls in love with the daughter of wealthy Baltus Van Tassel , well known farmer , his 18 year old daughter Katrina Van Tassel , has another suitor Abraham Van Brunt . Professor Crane , was invited to a gathering at the Van Tassel home , this night makes Ichabod's plan to ask for Katrina's hand from her father after the guests leave , but as the party goes on , Abraham narrates the spooky stories that envelop the town with tales of dark night terrors . The proposal fails for crane , and he decides to leave in the dark cold night , riding through the places that Brunt narrated about his tale of terror , he remembered the story and began to feel the fear , and approach the bridge near the cemetery , where the rider appeared with a strong smell of sulfur , feeling that presence , he rode his horse into the valley , fleeing from such a fright , fearing for his life , even so the rider caught up with crane and threw his decapitated head . His absence made katrina , end up choosing brunt to be betrothed and leaving Ichabod out of her way and the end of this story open to the reader.
To my understanding of this ending , the only one who knew details and places about the horseman was Brom and just tells the story on the night of Katrina and Ichabod's possible engagement , he disappears and leaves only his horse and hat , no trace of his humanity . This book has several film versions , the most famous is Tim Burton's , with his dark vision , is the best representation in my opinion of this fictional novel .
