Continuing with the challenge, this day corresponds to part five which is entitled a classic tale. Before I begin I would like to highlight the following: this challenge was made by @nathyortiz. Dando continuidad al reto, en este día corresponde la parte cinco que se titula un cuento clásico. Antes de comenzar me gustaría resaltar lo siguiente: este reto fue realizado por @nathyortiz. So, who has not heard or read the story of Little Red Riding Hood? That little girl who loved her mother and grandmother. On her birthday, her grandmother decided to give her a red hood as a present; the little girl used it so much that everyone ended up calling her Red Riding Hood. One day her mother gives her a basket of food to take to her grandmother, who is ill and lives in a house far away from them. When Little Red Riding Hood goes out to run the errand her mother had asked her to do, she meets a Big Bad Wolf who challenges her to a race to Grandma's house.
De esta forma, ¿Quién no ha escuchado, o leído del cuento de Caperucita Roja? Aquella niña que amaba a su madre y abuela. En donde, el día de su cumpleaños su abuelita decide darle de regalo una caperuza roja; era tanto que la utilizaba la niña que todos terminaron llamándola Caperucita Roja. Un día su madre le da una cesta con comida para que se la lleve a la abuelita, que está enferma y vive en una casa algo lejos de ellas. Cuando caperucita sale a realizar la diligencia que su mamá le había encargado se encuentra con un Lobo Feroz que la reta a una carrera hasta la casa de la abuelita.
Undoubtedly, we have all heard of that classic tale that has been around for more than 320 years since its first publication (original version written by Charles Perrault). Thus, Little Red Riding Hood has been one of those tales that have left great teachings to children by highlighting the values of obedience and prudence.
Sin duda alguna, todos hemos escuchado de aquel cuento clásico que lleva más de 320 años desde su primera publicación (versión original escrita de Charles Perrault) De esta forma, Caperucita Roja ha sido uno de esos cuentos que han dejado grandes enseñanzas a los niños al resaltar los valores de la obediencia y prudencia.
Let's go back to the story, previously summarized up to the challenge of the wolf's race to Little Red Riding Hood. Clearly the wolf had a plan which was to send that little girl down the longest road, so that he could get to Grandma's house before she did. When the wolf arrived at Grandma's house he was able to trick her by pretending to be Little Red Riding Hood, she opened the door, he pounced on her and ate her.
Retomemos el cuento, anteriormente resumí hasta el desafío de la carrera que le hace el lobo a caperucita. Claramente el lobo tenía un plan que era enviar aquella niña por el camino más largo, y así él llegar a casa de la abuelita antes que ella. Al llegar el lobo a casa de la abuela pudo a engañarla al hacerse pasar por caperucita, ella le abre la puerta, este se abalanza sobre ella y se la come.
After that terrible moment, the wolf waits patiently for Little Red Riding Hood, in order to deceive her and her grandmother. His plan was fulfilled to perfection. However, his stomach was so full that he fell fast asleep. At that moment, the wolf had not realized that a hunter had seen him enter that place. The hunter was worried, he knew that something bad was happening in the house, so he decided to go inside, observing the wolf with a swollen belly, he had already imagined what had happened. So he takes a knife and opens the animal's belly to take out Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.
Después de aquel terrible momento, el lobo espera pacientemente a caperucita, para así engañarla al igual que la abuela. Su plan se cumplió a cabalidad. Sin embargo, su estómago estaba tan lleno que se quedó profundamente dormido. En ese momento el lobo no se había percatado que un cazador lo había visto entrar a aquel lugar. El cazador preocupado, sabía que algo malo estaba pasando en la casa, así que, decide entrar, observando al lobo con la panza hinchada, ya él se había imaginado lo que había pasado. Así que toma un cuchillo y abre la tripa del animal para sacar a Caperucita y su abuelita.
The hunter decides to punish the wolf by placing stones inside his stomach and sewing him up. When the wolf wakes up from his deep sleep, he was very thirsty and looks for a river to drink water, while drinking the liquid, he falls into it and drowns.
Aquel cazador decide darle un castigo al lobo, al colocarle piedras dentro de su estómago y coserlo. Cuando el lobo despierta de su profundo sueño, tenía mucha sed y busca un río para tomar agua, mientras tomaba el líquido, éste cae dentro y se ahoga.
Teaching history
The story talks about the importance of obedience through the example of Little Red Riding Hood. When I was a child this was one of the stories I liked to read the most, it was clearly scary but I learned. Little Red Riding Hood is a story that exemplifies and makes children understand that not listening to parents can have negative consequences. Likewise, the story emphasizes prudence as a necessary value to distinguish between what is good and what is bad and to always be alert to dangerous behaviors such as talking to strangers.
El relato habla de la importancia de la obediencia a través del ejemplo de Caperucita. Cuando era una niña este era uno de los relatos que más me gustaba leer, claramente daba miedo pero aprendía. Caperucita roja es un cuento en donde se ejemplifica y hace entender a los más pequeños que no hacer caso a los padres puede traer consigo consecuencias negativas. De igual forma, el cuento pone el acento sobre la prudencia como valor necesario para distinguir entre lo que es bueno y de lo que es malo y mostrarnos siempre atentos ante conductas peligrosas como hablar con extraños.
