It is an activity to which I seek to encourage my students, although some of them find it a little more difficult to accept that they like to read. My favorite time is when I feel like reading, when I feel I need to read something and I pick up a book to lose myself in the adventure. On the other hand, my favorite place is at home, whether it's my grandmother's house or my parents' house. Because I don't have to leave or move from a certain place to read. I just sit on the couch or lie down on the bed and enjoy reading.

Very difficult, but what makes me enjoy a book the most are the relationships. How the main characters relate to each other, the way they resolve issues, the way they think. That's what I like most about reading, that I get to meet new characters who are engaged in a new adventure.

I'm very careful with my books, so I don't like to take them outdoors, I've read under trees. I'm not a big fan of doing that, though, because I'm afraid they'll get dirty. On the bus, I can't read, it gives me a headache, although on the Metro yes it is something I would do, and only if I had the book in physical form and was sitting down, otherwise, I don't like it.

Finally, character development is the last thing I focus on, even though it bothers me at times what they do.

In my case, I would recommend, look for what you like, and if you don't like it, don't feel obliged to finish the book. Whatever the subject, and in different shapes and sizes there are books, digital or physical, there is something for everyone, you just have to look for it. Get what you like, but if that doesn't work, don't despair, there are plenty of books you can try.

La lectura tiene muchos beneficios, entre ellos recrear los eventos en la mente a través de las imágenes, conocer palabras nuevas, mejorar la comprensión lectora y la lecto-escritura. Debo confesar que soy floja para leer pero cuando un libro me engancha, no lo suelto hasta que lo termine. Gracias por invitarme a esta iniciativa.😃😉
