Bienvenidos a mi post queridos lectores, hoy les quiero compartir mi primera reseña. Después de una rigurosa investigación sobre el tema decidí traerla a ustedes. Como siempre les digo a mis familiares (no lectores) cuando les recomiendo un libro, yo nunca recomiendo un libro malo, si estás aquí y tienes deseo de entrar (o ya estas) en el mundo de la lectura y quieres leer un buen libro, entonces, te recomiendo que leas mi reseña de principio a fin, estoy segura de que no te arrepentirás, más bien me agradecerás.
Welcome to my post dear readers, today I want to share with you my first review. After a rigorous research on the subject I decided to bring it to you. As I always tell my relatives (non-readers) when I recommend a book, I never recommend a bad book, if you are here and you have the desire to enter (or already are) in the world of reading and want to read a good book, then I recommend you to read my review from beginning to end, I'm sure you will not regret it, rather you will thank me.
¿De qué libro se trata? te preguntarás. Como el título indica no es nada menos que Boulevard de Flor M. Salvador, si de casualidad algún amigo tuyo te recomendó este maravilloso libro, créeme tienes a tu lado a una gran persona. Así como lo lees, la obra maestra que llevó a nuestra querida autora al estrellato, que pasó de ser una sombra detrás de sus historias poco reconocidas en la plataforma Wattpad a estar en boca de muchas personas, de unos cientos de vistas a miles.
What book is it about? You may ask. As the title indicates, it is nothing less than Boulevard by Flor M. Salvador, if by any chance a friend of yours recommended this wonderful book, believe me, you have a great person by your side. Just as you read it, the masterpiece that took our beloved author to stardom, which went from being a shadow behind her little recognized stories on the Wattpad platform to being on the lips of many people, from a few hundred views to thousands.
Gracias a la gran audiencia que tuvo Boulevard en Wattpad, logró convertirse en el primer libro impreso de la autora, el cual salió a mediados del 2020. Sin duda, algunos autores (como ella) que están ocultos en este tipo de plataformas, merecen ser descubiertos y tener un futuro brillante.
Thanks to the large audience that Boulevard had on Wattpad it managed to become the author's first printed book, which came out in mid-2020. Undoubtedly, some authors (like her) who are hidden in this kind of platforms, deserve to be discovered and have a bright future.
Nuestra autora descubierta inició su carrera de escritora bastante joven, comenzó a escribir este libro entre los 14 y 15 años de edad, sin ser esta su primera obra, ya con esto podemos hacernos una idea, prácticamente nació escribiendo.
Our discovered author started her writing career quite young, she began writing this book between 14 and 15 years of age, without being her first work, and with this we can get an idea, she was practically born writing.
Pero el hecho de que la autora fuera tan joven no le quita calidad a la obra, a pesar de que en ella encontramos temas un poco delicados como el abuso de sustancias tóxicas (drogas y tabaco) y abuso físico, no normaliza ninguna de ellas ni las toca de manera descuidada. Más bien, nos brinda una perspectiva diferente sobre el estilo de vida y causas que llevan a las personas a recurrir a este tipo de sustancias y cómo otras personas pueden influir negativa o positivamente en este tipo de personas, porque el decir: "él o ella es un drogadicto sin futuro, no te acerques es mala influencia"; no es la única opción.
But the fact that the author was so young does not detract from the quality of the work, although in it we find somewhat sensitive issues such as substance abuse (drugs and snuff) and physical abuse, does not normalize any of them or touches them carelessly. Rather, it gives us a different perspective on the lifestyle, and causes that lead people to resort to this type of substances and how other people can influence negatively or positively in this type of people, because saying: "he or she is a drug addict with no future, do not approach is a bad influence;" it is not the only option.
Hasley Weigel nuestra protagonista con fama de siempre llegar tarde a clase por quedarse dormida y presentarse con una mancha de pasta de dientes en la blusa. Por lo aparente, una chica sencilla y bastante básica. Quien hasta ahora no tiene demasiadas preocupaciones excepto quedar fuera de clases en una de esas llegadas tarde. Luke Howland nuestro chico misterio, difícil de descifrar, caracterizado por su perfecta cara de póker, cosa que solo él puede lograr. Con bastante mala reputación, sin amigos y bastante reservado. Siendo estos los personajes principales sabemos que el rumbo de la historia estará un poco turbulento y agitado. ¿Corromperá Luke a Weigel, como todos esperan?
Hasley Weigel our protagonist with a reputation for always being late to class for oversleeping and showing up with a toothpaste stain on her blouse. By all appearances, a simple and rather basic girl. Who so far doesn't have too many worries except being left out of class on one of those late arrivals. Luke Howland our mystery boy, difficult to decipher, characterized by his perfect poker face, something that only he can achieve. With quite a bad reputation, friendless and quite reserved. Being these the main characters we know that the course of the story will be a bit turbulent and agitated. Will Luke corrupt Weigel, as everyone expects?
La manera y situación tan peculiar en la que nuestros protagonistas se conocen, la forma de lidiar el uno con el otro, las reacciones y acciones poco comprendidas, y los tantos problemas y misterios que van surgiendo, nos dejan con ese sentimiento de querer saber más y no poder parar de leer.
The peculiar way and situation in which our protagonists meet, the way they deal with each other, the misunderstanding reactions and actions, and the many problems and mysteries that arise, leave us with that feeling of wanting to know more and not being able to stop reading.
Descubrirá una forma de amar única, que en lo personal me hizo querer enamorarme y eso en particular no está en mi lista de cosas por hacer. El libro como tal, en mi opinión no trata de amor, contiene romance y es uno de los aspectos más resaltantes, pero, es mucho más que solo un libro de romance adolescente, tiene un gran contenido psicológico que de seguro te hará reflexionar en tu vida, logro eso en mí.
You will discover a unique way of loving, which personally made me want to fall in love and that in particular is not on my bucket list. The book as such, in my opinion is not about love, it does contain romance and that is one of the highlights, but, it is much more than just a teen romance book, it has great psychological content that will surely make you reflect on your life, that happend to me.
Siendo un libro con contenido delicado recomendaría que lo leyeran personas mayores de 14 años. El desarrollo de la historia se desenvuelve mayormente en el instituto, pero también encontramos otros escenarios, donde ocurrirán cosas inesperadas y una que otra desconcertante, con los altibajos de esta ¿amistad? no lo sé, la relación extraña entre estas dos personas. ¿Una relación insana o tal vez un final inesperado? ¿Weigel se enamora? ¿me enamore yo? quizás, de lo que no tengo duda es que yo si me enamore, de la manera más hermosa posible.
Being a book with delicate content, I would recommend that people over 14 years old read it. The development of the story takes place mostly in high school, but we also find other scenarios, where unexpected things will happen and one or two disconcerting things, with the ups and downs of this friendship, I don't know, the strange relationship between these two people, an unhealthy relationship or maybe an unexpected end? Weigel falls in love? did I fall in love? maybe, but I'm certain that I did fall in love, in the most beautiful way possible.
Si llegaste hasta aquí y me dices que no quieres leerlo... me dejarás sin palabras y bastante triste, porque te perderás de algo muy bueno.
If you got this far and you tell me you don't want to read it... you will leave me speechless and quite sad, because you will miss something very good.
