El silencio del asesino
Bienvenidos a mi nuevo post queridos lectores, hoy les traigo la reseña de unos de los primeros libros que leí y uno de mis preferidos también, tenía unos 12 años aproximadamente, cuando esta joya de letras pasó por mis manos, afortunadamente logré conseguirlo prestado, si te gusta la lectura tanto como a mí, seguramente sabes los satisfactorio que es leer libros en físico, el olor, la sensación de pasar las hojas en signo de progreso, es algo significativo, te deja huella.
Welcome to my new post dear readers, today I bring you the review of one of the first books I read and one of my favorites too, I was about 12 years old approximately, when this jewel of letters passed through my hands, fortunately I managed to get it on loan, if you like reading as much as I do, surely you know how satisfying it is to read books in physical form, the smell, the feeling of turning the pages in sign of progress, it is something significant, it leaves its mark on you.
El título de este fascinante libro es igual de intrigante que su contenido, El silencio del asesino, nuestra autora Concha López Narváez no tuvo que batallar tanto con el título, de eso se trata, de un asesino que guarda silencio, y créeme no es lo que parece. Este thriller te mantendrá despierto hasta que lo devores o de lo contrario la curiosidad lo hará contigo, te recomiendo que no saques conclusiones precipitadas porque no todo es blanco o negro en esta obra. En el recorrido te toparás con árboles misteriosos, oscuros secretos, testimonios intrigantes y un final poco predecible.
The title of this fascinating book is just as intriguing as its content, The Silence of the Murderer, our author Concha López Narváez did not have to struggle so much with the title, that's what it's about, a murderer who keeps silent, and believe me it is not what it seems. This thriller will keep you awake until you devour it or else curiosity will do it to you, I recommend that you do not jump to conclusions because not everything is black and white in this story. Along the way you will come across mysterious trees, dark secrets, intriguing testimonies and a not very predictable ending.
Quien diría que guardar silencio te podría convertir en un asesino, quizás lo eres pero en este caso no, o tal vez ¿si? Lo sé, es confuso, pero es justo lo que produce este libro, confusión. Crees que estás entendiendo todo lo que está ocurriendo en el desenlace de los acontecimientos, pero entonces, el final te da una gran bofetada en la cara, así como cuando quieres entrar en tu habitación y te saltas el paso de abrir la puerta, y en su lugar pasas primero, es exactamente igual.
Who would think that keeping silent could turn you into a murderer, maybe you are, but in this case you are not, or maybe you are? I know, it's confusing, but that's just what this book produces, confusion. You think you are understanding everything that is going on in the denouement of events, but then, the ending gives you a big slap in the face, just like when you want to go into your room and you skip the step of opening the door, and instead you go through first, it's exactly the same.
Tenemos a nuestro protagonista Ernest Morrison, un hombre aparentemente bastante decente y pulcro, o por lo menos eso es lo que perciben de él los vecinos, y todo el que lo conoce aunque sea de vista, “es un hombre confiable”, opinan muchos. Ernest, vive en la mansión Twin Willows Manor, herencia dejada por su querida esposa, un lugar que esconde secretos terroríficos, los cuales salen a la luz después de un suceso imprevisto. Wiggfield un pequeño pueblo donde todo lo que ocurre se sabe y todas las personas se conocen, un tanto aburrido diría yo, casi nunca pasa nada interesante, hasta que un día todo eso cambia por completo.
We have our protagonist Ernest Morrison, a man apparently quite decent and neat, or at least that's what the neighbors perceive of him, and everyone who knows him even by sight, "he is a reliable man," many say. Es impresionante la manera en cómo logró la autora conseguir tal efecto en sus lectores. La intriga de lo que pasara, se mantiene hasta el final de la obra.
It is impressive how the author managed to achieve such an effect on her readers. The intrigue of what will happen is maintained until the very end of the book.

Licenciada en Historia, durante años se dedicó a la enseñanza, si bien desde muy temprano comenzó a combinar la docencia con su vocación literaria. Me volviste atrapar de principio a fin con la lectura, considerando que no me gusta mucho hacerlo. Tienes mucha madurez cuando se trata de expresar tus ideas, muy buena redacción, felicitaciones nuevamente, tengo mucho que aprender de ti.
I reckon the book would be more thrilling than you sound. I always like when an author makes you think and decode the characters main behavior, nice book.
Creo que el libro será más emocionante de lo que parece. Siempre me gusta cuando un autor te hace pensar y descifrar el comportamiento principal de los personajes, buen libro.
