In short, the author invites us into the life of Jack Ross, who, before falling in love with Jenna, saw love as something ridiculous. What strikes me about this installment is that we enjoy a plot narrated from Jack's point of view throughout. His fears, experiences, insecurities, and personal and emotional evolution are revealed in this book in a masterful way; we enter the protagonist's mind. In short, this story is wonderful and leaves us with a very profound message. It is an invitation to resilience, self-discovery, and the feeling that there will always be someone to break down the walls of our wounds; there will always be someone capable of healing those negative feelings from the past. But there will also be people who can open those wounds even wider. The truth is that the plot feels real and makes us part of it, makes us feel that love always exists and also teaches us that love hurts; however, even if you have wounds to heal, love will always be a second chance to be happy and let your heart be at peace. En pocas palabras; la autora nos invita a entrar en la vida de Jack Ross, quien antes de enamorarse de Jenna; veía el amor como algo ridículo. El sentía que eso no para él y que adquirir algún compromiso, era algo que debía evitar a toda costa; pero como dice la canción, del amor nadie se salva y eso es así. De hecho; en el segundo tomo, observamos como la ruptura con Jenna, lo llevó a caer en vicios que prácticamente destruyeron su vida; definitivamente, Jenna llegó a su vida para cambiarlo todo.

Sus miedos, sus vivencias, inseguridades, su evolución personal y emocional son revelados en este libro de una forma magistral; entramos en la mente del protagonista. En definitiva; esta historia es maravillosa y nos deja un mensaje muy profundo. Es una invitación a la resiliencia, al autodescubrimiento y al sentir que siempre habrá alguien que derrumbe los muros de las heridas; siempre habrá alguien capaz de curar esas sensaciones negativas del pasado. Pero también habrán personas que pueden abrir mucho más esas heridas. Lo cierto; es que la trama se siente real y nos hace formar parte de ella, nos hace sentir que el amor siempre existe y también nos enseña que el amor duele; sin embargo, aunque tengas heridas que sanar, el amor será siempre una segunda oportunidad para ser feliz y dejar en paz a tu corazón.
