Okay, I haven't finished reading the whole saga yet. Now I'm halfway through Dance with Dragons, but believe me, I've done a lot of spoilers researching what will happen in the books to find out what will happen.
Hello Hive users, as well as Hiveclubooks subscribers. I have decided this time to tell you about this specific saga. I should warn you that I have not watched the HBO series, Game of Thrones, I only watched the last season and only for short periods.
However, I'm the kind of person who likes to be ahead of events. So I am informed of what happens in the series.

Hola usuarios de Hive, así como también a los suscriptores de Hiveclubooks. He decidido esta vez hablarles de esta saga en especifico. Les sobre aviso que no he visto la serie de HBO, Juego de Tronos, únicamente vi la última temporada y por ratos cortos.
Sin embargo, soy el tipo de personas que le gusta adelantarse a los eventos. Así que estoy informado de lo que sucede en la serie.

He is the writer of this saga, as well as an American screenwriter. He is recognized among the genres of fantasy literature, science fiction, and horror. In addition, he is the person who has taken the longest time to publish the next installments, like Patrick Rothfuss, who also suffers from the same evil of leaving the reader waiting.
Es el escritor de esta saga, así como guionista estadounidense. Es reconocido entre los géneros de la literatura fantástica, ciencia ficción y terror. Además, es la persona que se ha tardado más años en publicar las siguientes entregas, como Patrick Rothfuss, que también sufre del mismo mal de dejar al lector esperando.
The books
So far there are only five books, although the series is already finished. They are long books whose particularity is that they are told from different characters.
I will try to review them as best as possible:
Game of Thrones: In this book, we enter the continent of Westeros, a place in tension, ready to join in a new war. We will meet several important families that rule in different parts of the kingdom, the Starks, Lannisters, Baratheon, and Tully, among others. As its title says, a game is brewing among the court for power.
Clash of Kings: In this installment, the war has already begun. Due to the death of the Usurper, several royal families have proclaimed themselves kings and the kingdom is dissolved in different wars for the territory.
Storm of Swords: The war continues to loom larger and larger. This is the longest book, which is divided into two volumes. Here different characters mature to the point of making hard and painful decisions for their destiny.
A feast for Crows: We meet new characters that give new nuances to the story that is already brewing. As well as giving us a glimpse of the consequences brought by the war in the kingdom of Westeros.
Dance with Dragons: The story runs at the same time as Feast of Crows, but with different characters. Since from the beginning, it would be the second part of the previous book. However, although it starts from the same beginning, it ends up extending more, providing them with more information about the story.
The next books still to be published are two: The Winds of Winter and Dream of Spring. Let's wait and see when we will see their publication.
Hasta los momentos solo hay cinco libros, a diferencia de la serie que ya culmino. Son libros extensos cuya particularidad es que esta relatada desde diferentes personajes.
Intentare reseñarlos lo mejor posible:
Juego de tronos: En este libro nos adentramos en el continente de Poniente, un lugar en tensión, dispuesta a sumarse en una nueva guerra. Conoceremos a diversas familias importantes que gobiernan en distintos puntos del reino, los Stark, Lannister, Baratheon y los Tully, entre otros más. Como su título lo dice un juego se cuece entre la corte por el poder.
Choque de Reyes: En esta entrega la guerra ya ha comenzado. Debido a la muerte del Usurpador diversas familias reales se han proclamado reyes y el reino se disuelve en distintas guerras por el territorio.
Tormenta de espadas: La guerra sigue cerniéndose cada vez más. Este es el libro mas extenso, siendo divido en dos tomos. Aquí diversos personajes maduraran a un punto de tomar decisiones duras y dolorosas para su destino.
Festín de Cuervos: Nos encontramos con nuevos personajes que dan nuevos matices a la historia que ya se cuece. Así como nos dan un vistazo de las consecuencias que trae la guerra en el reino de Poniente.
Danza de dragones: La historia corre en el mismo tiempo de Festín de cuervos, pero con diferentes personajes. Ya que desde el comienzo sería la segunda parte del anterior libro. Sin embargo, aunque comienza desde el mismo inicio termina extendiéndose más, dotándonos de mayor información de la historia.
Los siguientes libros que aún faltan por publicar son dos: Vientos de invierno y Sueño de primavera. Esperemos a ver cuando veremos su publicación.
Recommendation
Why I recommend it there are several factors.
For those who have read The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli or The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, you will see clear examples of what the game of thrones is all about.
Another recommendation is that although the saga has tinges of fantasy, it gives that sense of realism with the decisions of the characters, these can be hindered by the vagaries of third parties. The story seems to have neither good nor bad, everyone is looking for a piece of power in their way.
In addition, the characters evolve. They make drastic decisions that go against their nature. The environment or scenery also changes according to the events of battles or important events.
The intrigues that brew never cease and that keep the reader gripped.
Porque la recomiendo hay diversos factores.
Para aquellos que hayan leído El príncipe de Nicolás Maquiavelo o los 48 poderes de Robert Greene, verán claro ejemplos de lo que significa el juego de tronos.
Otra recomendación es que aunque la saga tiene tintes de fantasía, da esa sensación de realismo con las decisiones de los personajes, estas pueden verse entorpecidas por los azares de terceros. La historia no pareciera tener ni bueno ni malos, todos buscan un trozo de poder a su modo.
Además, los personajes van evolucionando. Toman decisiones drásticas que van en contra de su naturaleza. El ambiente o el paisaje también cambian de acuerdo a los sucesos de las batallas o eventos importantes.
Las intrigas que se cuecen nunca cesan y eso mantiene al lector atrapado.
Differences with the series
Although I like spoilers I won't tell you what happens, if you haven't seen or read either one. As everyone will know it's not the same. Or at least from the third book on, the events are not the same. Even characters that are dead, in the books are still alive.
So I urge you to read them and discover the details that discern with the series. If you saw the series, if not discover this new world waiting for you.
Aunque me gusten los spoiler no les diré que sucede, si no han visto o leído ninguno de los dos. Como todos sabrán no son lo mismo. O al menos a partir del tercer libro, los acontecimientos no son los mismos. Incluso personajes que están muertos, en los libros aun están vivos.
Así que te insto a leerlos y descubrir los detalles que discierne con la serie. Si viste la serie, sino descubre este nuevo mundo que espera por ti.

No he leído Danza de Dragones, pero me han dicho que el abuelo Martín parece que ya no sabe que rumbo tomar con la saga. Yo creo que no veremos el final de las novelas y tendremos que conformarnos con el de la serie. aparte de que se toma demasiado tiempo en escribir, esta involucrado en otros proyectos, como las pre-cuelas de la saga que prepara HBO y otras adaptaciones de sus libros. :(
Bueno espero que no sea verdad, si se que esta sumido en demasiado proyectos como para ver luz aun del próximo libro. Eso si es desalentador.
