Genesis 2 Church of Health and Healing founder Jim Humble, a former Scientologist who
has claimed he's a billion-year-old god from the Andromeda Galaxy, created the MMS
(Miracle Mineral Solution) that contains sodium chlorite and instructions are to mix with
citric acid which results in creating chlorine dioxide essentially instructing followers to drink
bleach.

So of bleach is a form of sacrament what of the scientific and health implications that comes with consuming bleach.? So how can people be blind to the fact that the church is the highest producer of chloride? The food and drug administration should look for a way to seal up the unlawful production of this poison.

People can be blind in the name of religion

These 'bleachers' have been around for a while. Some guy from the village I live in was pushing this 'cure' in Africa. The will kill people with this crap. Sounds like some nutters behind it.

This whole anti-science stuff, including anti-vaxxers, is taking humankind backwards. Not sure what their motives are unless it's just about control.

The very introduction and background of this pastor/leader is enough to make anything he says suspicious.
Like the pills for malaria, this chlorine dioxide has been suggested by many people around the world as an effective cure for coronaviruses. I have a cousin living now in France who defends the validity of a german scientist (I guess). He sent me this link to a doc describing this
https://drive.google.com/file/d/11WWtp1rYIp3O7vVaABAXqjWwQugfHkQQ/view?fbclid=IwAR2hIMaROFrwKHSzigsPZKGq_1mhMNSbGjHqF5UtcbOX4aD3PNPJziaIV8g

I am not scientist or have connections with doctors or researches who can validate this, but a lot has been written defending the use of this; a lot also has been published against it (same with the malaria pills).
In any case, if even among scientific circles these chemicals become the object of wars and all kinds of campaigns, in the hands of religious people this just get crazy.
I do not discard the possibility that a drug/treatment may exist that does not get used widely because it affects pharmaceuticalcompanies' interests.

It's 2020. If you don't know not to drink bleach, regardless of who tells you its okay, then I don't really know what to say.

I feel the same way about evangelicals that handle poisonous snakes.

Human stupidity is boundless. And this one must be judged. How long will there be gullible people.
