Virginia based minister E.W. Jackson has made statements that atheists cannot see the Corona Virus and freak out stating, “You can’t see it! AHHH! They’re cringing in fear. AHHH”! Jackson continues saying that atheists can’t see God either and should be more afraid of God than a virus.

Well I guess smart people are afraid because they do not want to die 😂

I agree, that is a dumb assumption. It goes beyond "seeing is believing". We believe in things we can't see because there is proof of that, either provided by science (microscopes and other devices) or because when subjected to the scientific method we can get some patterns that allow us to agree on the existence of certian forces of physical phenomena.
Believing in god is a different thing. First of all, he or she should not be hidden if he or she knows all the hell that would cause among their beloved creation.
The so-called manifestations of god (miracles, creations, etc) do not match the story of the sacred texts. The naturalphenomena have scientific explanations (which actually contradict most sacred texts). The sacred texts themselves are the worst propaganda in favor of the existence of god.
The "supernatural" phenomena can almost always be explained by science. In the instances where no scientific explanation is available uncertainty and lack of logic fill the void. Our inability to reconcile certain events (cause-effect, justice-injustice) makes it really difficult to attribute them to any all-seeing, all-powerful, all-loving deity.

Let me turn on my god detector! Doh, not got one. I thought god had to be taken on faith. I don't need faith in viruses and they can be seen with the right equipment and have real effects on us. I think you can see them with an electron microscope. Some pictures here

Answer:
Because when you're dead, you're dead. Atheists get that. They don't lie to themselves like the faithful do.

The virus is the same for everyone, whether atheists or believers.
