How to Make Crispy Corn Sticks

Snacks are a must-have menu in my house, because I am a snack lover, I really like various types of snacks, whatever it is will make my time fun. Well today I want to process snacks made from corn mixed with various other basic ingredients so that it will give a very delicious taste. Actually I was inspired by packaged snacks that are often sold in supermarkets and I often buy them, because packaged snacks generally contain a lot of preservatives, this time I want to make my own using ingredients that are easy and using existing, safe, healthy and good for our health.

Corn Sticks

Corn always gives color to every snack, the aroma and texture of the taste in every processed food made from corn always intrigues me, and this corn stick is no exception. Corn sticks is the name I mentioned for this snack, which is elongated in shape, so I gave it that name. So here I will prepare some of the ingredients needed in the process of making snacks and I will also describe the steps in preparing them.

Materials Used

1 piece of sweet corn
Enough water
100 grams of rice flour
50 grams tapioca flour
1 teaspoon mushroom broth
1 teaspoon baking powder

Cooking Procedure

STEP 1

The first step I took to start cooking corn sticks was to prepare the sweetcorn by combing all the seeds on the cob.

STEP 2

Then puree the corn by adding enough water, blend until completely smooth.

STEP 3

Then prepare a container, pour the crushed corn in the container, then add the rice flour.

STEP 4

Now after the rice flour is added, also add tapioca flour.

STEP 5

Next, add the baking powder, mushroom broth and salt, then stir until the dough is completely mixed evenly.

STEP 6

Then put the dough in a triangular plastic or mold according to your taste, here I use triangular plastic so that it is easy to print an elongated shape.

STEP 7

Well, next I fry the dough in hot oil, little by little.

STEP 8

Fry until golden brown, and then drain, now when frying I suggest you to stir so that it cooks evenly.

The taste of this snack really can't be fooled, the distinctive corn aroma makes it really amazing, I really like this snack. The crunchy and savory combination of the two makes me unable to stop chewing, moreover I enjoy it with a sprinkling of chili powder and I also dip it with chili sauce, this is really the taste I expected. Very tasty !!!.

No need to boil, you can use raw corn, it will be much tastier and the aroma will definitely be very tempting.
