Feliz sábado para todos los amantes de la buena comidad que conforman la comunidad #plantpower, hoy les traigo mi entrada al desafío propuesto por la amiga @sirenahippie, donde debemos presentar la preparación de las tre comidas veganas del día, llamado: mi día 100% vegano.

Cuando lei la propuesta, representó para mí todo un desafío, debido a que, me encanta la comida vegana, pero a mi familia no tanto; asi´que, pensé; bueno debo pensar en un menú que toos coman, porque sino, me toca cocinar doble; jajajaj; y me puse manos a la obra!

Como tengo niños en casa; para el desayuno decidí preparar un delicioso batido de avena, cambur y cacao en polvo, que nos permitiría iniciar el día llenos de energía ( las necesitaria para el resto del día; jajaj), además de la fibra que aporta la avena; quedaron encantados! a mi hijo menor fué al que más le gustó!

Para el almuerzo, habia puesto en remojo unos garbanzos, que formarían parte del menú, el cual se acompañó con arroz blanco, ensalada, plátano y aguacate; un almuerzo muy balanceado, nutritivo y completo!

Ya para finalizar el día, me dispuse a preparar una tortillas de harina de trigo, las cuales serví acompañadas de una colorida ensalada; algo así como unos tacos con lo que tenía en casa; quedarón espectaculares! y, lo mejor, que mi familia me acompañó en las tres comidas, y no tuve que cocinar doble, jajaja.

Happy Saturday to all the lovers of good food that make up the #plantpower community, today I bring you my entry to the challenge proposed by my friend @sirenahippie, where we must present the preparation of the three vegan meals of the day, called: my 100% vegan day.

When I read the proposal, it was a challenge for me, because I love vegan food, but my family doesn't love it so much; so I thought; well, I must think of a menu that everyone eats, because otherwise, I have to cook twice; hahahahahahaha; and I got down to work!

As I have children at home; for breakfast I decided to prepare a delicious oatmeal smoothie, cambur and cocoa powder, which would allow us to start the day full of energy (I would need it for the rest of the day; hahahah), in addition to the fiber that oats provide; they were delighted! my youngest son was the one who liked it the most!

For lunch, I had soaked some chickpeas, which would be part of the menu, which was accompanied with white rice, salad, banana and avocado; a very balanced, nutritious and complete lunch!

At the end of the day, I prepared some wheat flour tortillas, which I served with a colorful salad; something like tacos with what I had at home; they were spectacular! And, the best part, my family was with me for all three meals, and I didn't have to cook twice, hahaha.

PREPARACIÓN

Preparando el desayuno:

Para una porción:
1 cambur
2 cucharadas de avena en polvo
1 cucharada de cacao en polvo
1 taza de leche de coco
1 cucharada de azúcar.

Se lleva el cambur a la licuadora, se incorporan el resto de los ingredientes, y se licúa fuerte.

Se sirve, y, a disfrutar esta energica y deliciosa bebida!

PREPARATION

Preparing breakfast:

For one serving:
1 cambur
2 tablespoons of oatmeal powder
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon of sugar.

Take the cambur to the blender, add the rest of the ingredients, and blend hard.

Serve, and enjoy this energetic and delicious drink!

Preparando el almuerzo:

Utilizaremos los siguientes ingredientes:

300gr de garbanzos
500gr de arroz blanco
1 aguacate
1 tomate
1 pepino
ají
cebolla
ajo
comino
pimienta
1 plátano.

Comenzaremos por remojar los garbanzos, la noche anterior, para que sea mas rápida su cocción.

Se lavan bien los aliños, se sofrien, se añaden a los garbanzos, se sazona con comino, sal y pimienta, se deja un par de minutos mas al fuego, y se retiran.

Se lava bien el arroz, se sofrie en aceite, se le añade agua y sal, y se deja cocinar hasta que seque.

Se sirve el plato acompañado de una sencilla ensalada de pepino y tomate, plátano frito y un trozo de aguacate troceado, espolvoreado con orégano.

Preparing lunch:

We will use the following ingredients:

300gr of chickpeas

1 tomato
1 cucumber
chili
onion
garlic
cumin
pepper
1 plantain.

We will begin by soaking the chickpeas, the night before, so that their cooking is faster.

Wash the seasonings well, fry them, add them to the chickpeas, season with cumin, salt and pepper, leave them a couple of minutes more on the fire, and remove them.

Wash the rice well, fry it in oil, add water and salt, and let it cook until it dries.

The dish is served with a simple cucumber and tomato salad, fried plantain and a piece of chopped avocado, sprinkled with oregano.

Preparando la cena:

harina de trigo (para las tortillas)
aguacate
zanahoria
tomate
1 limón
pepino.

Se amasa la harina, y en una superficie limpia se estira finamente en forma redonda, y se asan en un budare caliente.

Se prepara la ensalada, mezclando todos los ingredientes, y se sazona con sal, limón y aceite.

Se rellenan las tortillas con ensalada, y, a comer!

Preparing dinner:

wheat flour (for tortillas)
avocado
carrot
tomato
1 lemon
cucumber.

The flour is kneaded, and on a clean surface it is finely stretched in a round shape, and roasted in a hot pan.

The salad is prepared, mixing all the ingredients, and seasoned with salt, lemon and oil.

Fill the tortillas with salad, and eat!
