A few days ago at the school where I work there was an election for the student council president. This election was carried out as an OSIS election for the 2021/2022 school year.
This was done because the old student council president's term of office had ended. Selection is done simply to save cost and time.
The event was carried out without dismissing the students and learning at school continued as usual. The selection committee consisting of several teachers and selected students seemed to come to each student class with ballot boxes and ballot papers.
The students were seen voting in an orderly manner and looked very excited to make this election be success.
After the voting was finished, the committee was busy opening the ballot papers from the ballot box, witnessed directly by the OSIS chairman candidates themselves.
A few days before the process of selecting the student council chair, the candidates for the student council president have conveyed their vision and mission in front of the students so that students can choose who is their favorite student council president candidate.
After going through a thorough and honest vote counting process, finally the OSIS chairman was elected who came from the first grade students.
