Today is another beautiful day to share with my readers an incredible beauty. It is the people that describe where l belong to, Africa. Africa is noted for so many beauties everywhere. Here in Ghana, beauty is seen in everything that we do. It is the way we do our things.

Culture is an aspect of life that so much attention is given to here in my home country.
A few weeks ago, l got married and l share with you some moments of the beauty that were showcased during the marriage ceremony.

My marriage ceremony brought people from any part of the country. They all dressed in their own way to come support and grace the occasion. It was a moment of love, fun, and beauty. Even though it was a festive season but the culture was so much expressed on that day.

The photos l share are moments when the items that are meant for the marriage ceremony are being carried into the room where the occasion is happening. In ghana, a man who seeks the hand of a woman in marriage is demanded certain items as bride price. These items are demanded by the woman's family and they are presented on the day of the marriage ceremony.

Families and friends helped in the carrying of the items for the seeking of the woman to marry. Once these items are presented to the families, they then agree to offer the woman your hand in marriage. Until the groom provides these items to the family, the woman is not allowed to be given to you.

And so here in the post is when men and women carry the items to seek for her hand in marriage. It was a day filled with so much beauty love. People wear their locally printed clothes in different beauty to grace the occasion. Food, drinks, and water are served to all present members for the love shown. The day ended successfully with the marriage done duly. This was how culture was demonstrated during my marriage ceremony here in Ghana.
