My neighbours from childhood were so lovely. We all lived like one big family you couldn’t tell who was who when we were playing.
There was only one man who didn’t like his children to mingle, but his wife was such a lovely mother.
We all lived peacefully for about 20 years.
Then, one day our caretaker gave everybody a quick notice…
So all the parents gathered for a meeting and decided what to do.
When the case reached the court, they all spoke with one voice except the strict man.
He told the court they should give him three months to sort his living arrangements, while the others pleaded otherwise.In the end, the court granted all the requests.
But within the three months he had requested, the man lost his job and things changed for him so he couldn’t meet the deadline. The police then had to come and take their belongings out.
The children moved in with us, while the mother and father went their separate ways. For about seven months they all lived separately, until the wife was able to gather some money and finish their apartment.To be honest, we all still love each other like one big family in a flat of four apartments.
Then came the "Almighty neighbour".
The first week, another neighbour moved in. Power Holding came to cut the light. My dad thought this man was like the others my dad doesn’t usually talk much so he went out to plead with Power Holding on the man’s behalf, trying to explain that he’s a new tenant.but the man snubbed my dad and said, My man, don’t beg anybody for me. I have five generations inside🙄 let them cut it.🤣All the children laughed that day, but my dad was very angry. Since then, it’s just Good morning and then every body vanishes.
Till the day God provided our own personal house, this new area still feels like one big family. Almost all our parents are retired but not tired they always sit under my dad’s cashew tree to gist.I love those neighbours.
But my own neighbours when I married and we got our own apartment were something else,another world entirely. It was in that house I saw real gossip and real madness😏we were all living together with our landlord.
It’s one fight after another our landlord’s got madness in his head. We all see Hell.
He later gave all the Christians a quick notice.
He fought my husband for washing the car every day with borehole water instead of well water.
The second neighbour he said he used to pray loudly and disturb him with his bell and shout.
The third neighbour kept using church water to wash the floor every time. Our life with that man was hell.he sent us all parking .
But my present landlady now, It’s just her and us alone, two apartments, No drama.she's like God sent, She’s so lovely and caring, a real mother indeed.
