RE: I bailed on day 1 of the meditation course and went to Manali. "Happiness Is A Pleasure Between Two Pains"

I am glad you liked this area but at the same time I laughed out loud because you mentioned Charas or was that Bhang? WE do have it a plenty on the roadsides from where people extract it by rubbing the leaves with their hands. I once used it by mistake while going for a game of badminton and won the first five points against a champion player and then I don't know how I reached home...lol.

I suggest you to buy "Doaran O" tablets and eat one half an hour before you start traveling in the hills. You will never feel like vomiting, but enjoy your journey. Finally, If you go to Shimla from Manali, try to travel by train passing through 100+ tunnels and no feelings of vomiting at all. All the best!

Ahh yes the charas.. it brings so many people here.. its just part of life its so funny.. a different world.. quite simple too, very basic in a way.. which is part of its charm.. i hope it get quieter at my new place though as ive been in the center and its a bit nuts!. so many indians now travelling now that covid is off, and its 40 degrees on the plains.. so you can imagine the scene!

thanks for that tip! YES, that would have maybe saved me two days of migraine.. what to do.. i cant handle those turns in a car.. bike, no problem! :)

Now im booked back next week to my base in AP.. im ready to go home.. its also really hard to find accommodation up here.. so busy and all the nice places are booked. so that hasnt helped..

we need to build some earthship eco homes up here!
