The end of another week and Coronavirus continues to exert it's misery, Lockdown 2.0 the Santa Spoiler kicked in on Thursday - but it seems the UK public have learned from the first lockdown and are pretty widely ignoring the new one - same traffic morning and night, same amount of people out and about during the day. While non food supplying retail stores have to close, and no eat in food is allowed, the Take Out food and drink clause seems to allow a good portion of cafe's and coffee shop's to remain open just offering a take out coffee and food service - it seems people can still go into the shop to purchase the food and drink - as long as they leave with it to consume off the premises. Clothing and general goods retail seem to be taking the brunt - although bizarrely Garden centres can still open? Because your Petunias are worth risking catching Coronavirus for. But Gym's have to close - so if you don't catch Coronavirus it'll be the heart disease from inactivity does you in. Well played UK government - reduce the Coronavirus death count by making sure you increase it elsewhere.

Another crazy week for orders, maxing out with around 60 orders per day being dropped on a night at Hermes lockers, aside from the pallets of goods going out by DPD Local. The domestic orders have really ramped up again as people are forced to mostly stay home, it's a flat out workathon keeping up with the coffee roasting and packing - and with the added fun of 3 bag sizes now being available .

Halloween passed without out much happening, a few of the neighbours kids called round off the street - you can't grudge them that really. Bonfire Night November 5th however - as the first day of lockdown - I know you can exercise outdoors but it seems that half the population was exercising with a few hundred pounds of fireworks - Thursday 5pm to 11pm solid constant fireworks, Friday 7pm to gone Midnight solid fireworks, Saturday 5pm until 7pm now - and no end in sight of solid fireworks - all that furlough scammed cash from the Government being spent before they try and get it back I guess.
