While last weekend should have been a long break with the Bank Holiday on Monday - I ended up calling into work for a little time at least each day. With the stock take to finish, coffee orders that came in to roast and pack and also trying to troubleshoot a customers roaster whose new pilot system on an old roaster refused to light the burner - after a bit of trial an error on my own roaster I worked out the brand new proof of flame probe and cable could not be working, and came up with a solution until it was replaced by stripping the wire at the end of the old cable and splicing it onto the new probe - worked a treat apparently.
Tuesday as you would expect proved to be very busy, with the back log of orders built up over the weekend - even though I shipped all the White Rose Coffee Roasters on Monday. And that continued for the rest of the week, with coffee needing roasting most days - my local customers are doing very well despite outside only consumption - roll on the 17th so everyone can enjoy their coffee indoors again.
