We had our first AMA about the blockchain wars script

Summary - We’re looking to take the first steps in developing a feature-length film based off the events that transpired with Steemit, Justin Sun, and Hive while showcasing the power of Web3 – with step one being the development and creation of a script.

We were joined by @starkerz @theycallmedan @shadowspub @traciyork @guiltyparties and @basilmarples

Also check out our last 4 blog posts for more details about the script:

Nice talk you guys...
Looking forward to following the case with Justin...
And yep very hard to make people understand and even believe that they will own their accounts...

Namaste

Great meeting last night. Its very exciting to see the community on board with this. I think its an excellent opportunity to give this wild blockchain story to the world!

I woke up with some thoughts about the court case element:

As much as the idea makes sense as a storytelling tool, I feel compelled to suggest that the court case doesnt become the central narrative of the movie.
For me it just feels like a bit of an old narrative of big cases going through the courts and I think to focus on it too much might undermine the significance of what has actually happened here in terms of revolutionary community action. Obviously its an important part of the story, but even if the community wins the case I still don't feel that its the bedrock of what has happened here.
For me, the only reason this film is a feasible project right now is because victory has already been achieved by the community - we already have an inspirational and revolutionary end point to this story!
So for me, I'd prefer to see the bedrock of the film be the wider socio-economic setting of the world (post Big Short - hell almost like a sequel. How did the world respond to the financial crash and the bailing of the banks ? Blockchain! ) this is the story of how a community took its chance to overthrow traditional power - outside of the courtroom! - and reshape their destiny as a sovereign decentralised populace on the cutting edge of a new paradigm

Yes! Stealing is bad is a genius title! Love it!

En castellano por favor....🙏🙏
