In today's video, I'd like to discuss the old saying "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely." First off, what is "absolute power?"
The thing I really want to discuss is the idea that power can corrupt, but that is generally the effect of others giving you their power. Each of us has a variety of different types of "power," but they are all ours - personal power, and someone else giving us their power (through blind faith, giving up of authority, etc.)
