We are in a very disjointed industry right now. It is similar to the Internet in the early days. However, things are going to change in the next couple of years.

In this video I discuss how interoperability is going to be vital to what is taking place. We are going to see the isolation of different blockchains to diminish. As that happens, a blockchain like Hive becomes even more important.

Voice and data were not standardized for the longest time. LANs had Novell or NetBEUI. TCP/IP wasn't quite a thing, yet. I remember screwing around with token ring networks using coax cable. And, backbones had ATM or Frame Relay. It wasn't until the Internet went mainstream that TCP/IP started becoming more universal. And, that included VOIP becoming the standard for voice communications running on TCP/IP. Alex Mashinsky likes to call Bitcoin Money Over IP (MOIP).

I thin that eventually there will be some form of standardization. I wouldn't be surprised if someday nodes can run multiple crypto protocols like computers now run IPv4 and IPv6 simultaneously.

It only makes sense that developers will agree to some type of standardization. That is where the real growth occurs.

I think that analogy is very popular right now about this being like the early days of the Internet. I have heard you mention it several times in the past and now I have started to hear it from other sources as well (outside of Hive).

It makes sense since it is the major #technolgy thrust of the last 30 years. This is also something most people can identify with.

So we will see #cryptocurrency and #blockchain follow a similar path. It will evolve over time into something much bigger.

I’m glad you discussed the username aspect of Hive. It’s hard to say any one feature is my favorite, but if I had to choose I think this would be it.

Totally agree the convenience is awesome for transacting, but I find it also calming and friendly. Quaint, maybe is the word I’m looking for. Comforting. Hell, I don’t know where I’m going with this but the familiarity of it is reassuring on some level.

Maybe because it adds another layer of community. Shit, man. You probably said all this anyway. I’ll go work it out somewhere else.

An often overlooked aspect to #hive.

We have the ability to create our own usernames as opposed to a wallet address that is 64 numbers and letters.

Feedback from the July 1st Hive Power Up Day - ATH Volume record!

I remember Bulletin Board Systems (BBS). That is how old I am. My first introduction to what is now the Internet was when I was an Operations Non-commissioned Officer (NCO) in the Corps. That was in the mid-1980s. We used Banyan Vines.

Things have really changed in a short period of time, that is for sure. I do my best to keep up with the technology, but it is a losing battle.

Summary:
In this video, Task discusses the future of blockchain technology with a focus on interoperability. He draws parallels between the current state of fragmented blockchain networks and the early days of the internet, highlighting the need for bridges and applications that can connect different blockchains. Task emphasizes the importance of interoperability in enabling seamless value transfer across various blockchain platforms. He specifically mentions Hive and its potential technological advantages in terms of speed, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly features like custom wallet names. Task predicts a future where blockchain networks will be interconnected, allowing for easy movement of value between different chains.

Detailed Article:
Task delves into the evolution of blockchain technology, emphasizing the crucial role of interoperability in shaping its future. He likens the current disparate blockchain networks to the fragmented nature of early internet systems, highlighting the need for cohesive connectivity among different chains. Task underlines the significance of bridges and applications that can facilitate seamless interaction and value transfer across various blockchain platforms.

The discussion shifts towards the unique position of Hive in this landscape, pointing out its potential advantages in terms of speed, cost efficiency, and user convenience. Task notes that Hive's ability to offer custom wallet names sets it apart from other blockchains, providing users with a more user-friendly experience. This feature, along with Hive's fast and fee-less transactions, positions it as a strong contender in the future of blockchain technology.

Task envisions a future where blockchain networks are interconnected, allowing for easy and fluid movement of value between different chains. He predicts that users will gravitate towards blockchains that offer speed, cost-effectiveness, and simplicity, ultimately shaping the industry's trajectory towards greater integration and efficiency.

Moreover, Task touches on the potential for Hive to expand its network through connectivity with other blockchain platforms like Ethereum and Bitcoin. By creating bridges or software layers, Hive could tap into a wider network, fostering greater collaboration and value transfer across different chains. This interconnected ecosystem could revolutionize the industry, making blockchain more accessible and user-friendly for a broader audience.

In conclusion, Task's insights shed light on the importance of interoperability in driving the future of blockchain technology. By promoting seamless connectivity and value transfer among different chains, the industry can unlock new possibilities and enhance user experiences. Hive's unique features and potential for integration with other platforms position it as a key player in shaping the future landscape of blockchain technology.

Totalmente de acuerdo la tecnología blockchain está apenas en pañales
