A Ukrainian blogger told how residents of destroyed apartments in Kharkov are required to pay full utility bills.

Otherwise - blocking of accounts, including those to which social payments and pensions are received.

This is the result of placing the positions of the AFU in residential buildings.

Seems to me the best strategy these folks could employ would be to officially move to a different address, and become responsible for the utility bills there. As a landlord, I can testify the utility companies send the bills to me when people do that.

Thanks!

the problem is that they cannot afford to move on their own, the state provides temporary shelters without compensation for the damaged dilya.

the victims have a bank card for social payments and banks block their accounts for the existence of rent arrears in the destroyed apartment.

it's like you want to pay bills, but due to financial claims against you, your account is blocked without the ability to use it and pay bills.

And according to the law, in view of martial law, residents of even unaffected houses may not pay utility bills until the expiration of martial law without fines and penalties, and of course without blocking social support accounts of citizens!

In addition, the population in a country where there is practically no work, the cost of electricity is almost doubled!

Oddly, you’re using the Russian name for the city rather than the Ukrainian name.

Imagine, in the video the Ukrainian blogger speaks Russian
The injured Ukrainian woman speaks Russian.
More than half of the population of Ukraine speaks Russian!

Pedantry is a strange assault on people, particularly those that speak neither language. It's a remarkable lack of substantive arguments, like other ad hominems.
