Philippines: What Sub-Cultures Exist in My Country? [Cross Culture Question]

I have met many people from the Philippines (including some good friends!) and find many to be extremely adaptable and very balanced between different cultures. Looking at it from the standpoint of history or cultural influences, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks @arrliinn for helping me understand why! It's something I knew a bit but didn't really connect in my mind.

This was my take on subcultures. In America subcultures often refer to hobbies and interests and the culture that is built around them. Many of these subcultures start off small and slowly get popular, sometimes losing what made them special, but they will also have an impact on the mainstream culture too.

Culture is not just about nation or religion. Different age groups have different cultures too. In America we see a huge divide between "Boomers" "Millenials", "Gen Zers" who are in between and "Zoomers" who are coming up now.

You may share your individual experience with family and friends, or the situation of the country in general. Be specific, we'd like to know as much as possible about unique situations. Be Personal, we want to know more about you!

As usual, "Your Country" can refer to the place you were born, or if you are living overseas or lived overseas, the country you feel most interested in talking about!
