Making The Switch

Well here's one technique i'd really love to talk about when it comes to post processing your photographs.

Most often we don't really get the expected results that we look for in our images so instead of discarding them I tried converting them into a Black & White (Monochrome) image and almost 70% of the time they turned out to be really amazing.

Take this image below for example, on the left you have an unprocessed RAW image and on the right you have a processed image. It looks good, it's decent but it's not that great you know what I mean ?

Now check the next one out, on the left you have an unprocessed RAW image and on the right you have a processed Monochrome image. Now doesn't this one look much better ? I really love this one and i'm a sucker for monochrome images.

So next time you have a dull image try making the switch to Monochrome as a work around. I'm sure it'll turn out amazing.

Cheers!
