DJI Mavic Mini
There is a long story that i should probably make a video for, but in short, i had my DJI Mavic mini stuck on a tree for 21 days. I was waiting for some wind and after few days i thought it will stay there until autumn as it was nicely "protected" by the leafage.
We had some strong winds yesterday evening and i was thinking to go and take a look, but before i managed to do that i got a call from a acquaintance asking me did i lost something.
The Mavic fell 12+ meters (can't really tell as there is a hill under the tree) and absolutely nothing happened to it. I have doubts that it floated down :) Props are fine, arms are fine, camera and gimbal work. Only thing is that something tried to eat it as there is some soft foam like material on the inside of the arms. There is a hole there but did not manage to get to cables.
The battery also looks fine. i am a bit hesitant to try and charge it.
You can see my confused face as i am looking at the drone working like new without even changing the props.
Damn lol how tf did it survive the fall??! And it didn't rain in the past 21 days it had been there? Sounds like this will be a good survival movie, with the title "21 days" just like that movie 127 Hours haha
i has been pretty dry last few weeks, we had some short showers but nothing serious. I was thinking of what will happen with the battery as there were few days of almost 40 Celsius in the shade.
i was sure something will brake when it gets down in the end. and i was 100% sure i would need to change the props. but nothing was not what i expected :)
will have to test it more as there was some wind today so i did not want to push it, but it has no errors and no problem with staying at a spot or moving in any direction.

i had 0 expectations of it working when it comes down. sure did not expect that i will just put another battery in and that is it :D
maybe the light weight helped.

Ha ha ha, did you try to record game secretly without buying a ticket :) Joke. Good to know it is ok. I know how it is when you are worried about drones. I got a few "lost signal" in the jungle :)
