The coming blood moon this week will be the longest lunar eclipse in almost 600 years. I will be just after sunset for those on the Australian east coast. The chance to shoot a blood moon with a forground (as it rises after sunset) was something I was excited about. Here is a shot of a blood moon with the sun just returning to the side of it from a few years ago that I shot while in Canada.
Despite being excited to see it the cloud chart below for our area looks nasty. but 95% chance of cloud is not 100%. Where some chance remains there is still hope lol

good luck and clear sky :D
Thanks mate. Not looking the best but you never know.
This picture is dope. Love the backlighting
It was a little bit hazy with very transparent fog; which gave the air glow so to speak
It looks awesome
Can't believe how well you did with that punk. Love that project.
Ya, I got super lucky with how the sale and everything went down. lol
There's still a drop of water in the glass so technically it's not empty :)
Love your optimism
Glass is never empty as long as there is breath in your lungs.
The weather forecast is always wrong over here at the moment. I hope that the forecasters where you are, are equally inept, and that you have a lovely clear sky.... 😀
Thanks. Hopefully !
Good luck 😎
That is an extremely clear photo of the moon. Amazing. I hope the eclipse viewing goes/went well!
Cloud unfortunately
