I wonder if those techniques or settings could be applied to my Nikon D5600? That takes by FAR the better photos, but it has so many bells and whistles my head spins

if you have this Nikon even better! you can do much more! 🙃

But only if I can either figure out how to do it. 🤣

it's not so difficult! set your camera to a 10 s timer & the exposure to 5-10-15 seconds, try several trials running in front of the camera untill you focus it correctly! 1 shot will be amazing when you figure it right! 😉

Thank you for these tips. I'll try to save these instructions @careassaktart

no problem! just try few times, practice & you'll figure it out! Camera is a machine made to serve humans! So make it serve you! 😉

Here is my long exposure entry 😊
None thing beats a hike through the forest! Especially in Springbrook national Park in Queensland Australia.
There are alot of beautiful views and some stunning waterfalls. But the my favourite part is exploring the creeks and finding little waterfalls like this one.
I took this photo on my Sony a7iii

Thank you for sending this special photo of a special moment and place!
There is something magical in the motion-blurred water, isn't it!

Yes there sure is something magical in motion blurred water. It reminds me of time passing by. I'm glad you like my entry 😊

Here's my entry for #8 long exposure photography. I did some light painting with both my camera and the light source moving. =) If interested, you can find more details in this post.

Light painting is really something special and your photos are a good example of that :) Do you know there is a community for Light Painting on Hive, its members are quite active, probably you could get more inspiration from there :)

Here is my long exposure entry.
I took this photo when I was traveling at the Blang Pool waterfall in my area, I tried to take a long exposure picture in a river with lots of rocks.
I took this picture using the xiomi poco x3 nfc smartphone camera.
This image is originally mine.

Great photo, the magic of the motion-blurred water, especially considering that has been taken with a smartphone! ;)

Thank you, have some !LUV
