Day 6 Mass Indoctrination on Zoom 18/10/2021

If you see a brother sinning, pray for him. It is very lovely and responsible if we pray for ourselves as brethen. The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. If a righteous or upright person pray, when he has not started, God has hear him.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Daniel prayed for his people, he asked for forgiveness on behalf of the Israelites.
And he kneeled down towards the temple in Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

Which direction should we face while praying?
The answer is the East side, because that's where the glory of God of Israel started. As Daniel also did.

Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

There is a family or household of God in heaven and another one on earth. The one on earth is the house of God(The Church).

Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Ephesians 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.

Meanwhile God does not dwell in a building built with hands, but he only dwells in the house of prayer built by Solomon.
God dwells in men rather than building, as our body is a temple of the spirit of God.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Doctrine is different from discipline
Prayer is a doctrine, while discipline is needed to carry out doctrine.

Example of discipline is "when people off their shoes before entering the church or place of prayer". Just like how God instructed Moses to off his shoes on Mount Sinai.

Exodus 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Another discipline is "facing the east in order to pray". The Church of God(MCGI) is from the eastern part that is according to the bible. Men set up discipline but doctrines are of Christ, Doctrines are discovered in the word of God.

Benefits of prayer:
Our sins will be forgiven, also
God will hear us if we pray with a pure heart.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Pray! Pray!! Pray!!!
