Si buscamos buenos ejemplos en la Biblia acerca de personas que perseveraron hasta el final, no podemos quitar la vista del apóstol Pablo que no solamente a perseverado en su vida sino que también nos ha dejado escritos acerca de ello.
Por lo cual, teniendo nosotros este ministerio según la misericordia que hemos recibido, no desmayamos. 2 Antes bien renunciamos a lo oculto y vergonzoso, no andando con astucia, ni adulterando la palabra de Dios, sino por la manifestación de la verdad recomendándonos a toda conciencia humana delante de Dios.

Pablo también exhortaba a los hijos de Dios a que a pesar de todo no dejen de seguir a Cristo, esto lo dijo aún estando en la cárcel y cuando era perseguido, de la misma manera insta a los creyentes que aún en medio de la persecución perseveren, el apóstol Pablo más que cualquiera tenía razones para desanimarse pero sabía en quien confiaba.
Hoy nosotros somos fruto de la perseverancia del apóstol Pablo, hoy nosotros somos su cosecha, gracias a su fidelidad la palabra de Dios se extendió por toda la tierra, comenzando por Roma y pasando por el mundo judío llegando a los gentiles de los confines de la tierra.
Hoy la carta de la postor Pablo transforma a millones y millones de vidas alrededor del mundo, hoy nosotros nos fortalecemos a través de estos escritos inspirados por el mismo espíritu Santo de Dios hoy disfrutamos de todas esa persecución que sufrió.
Con todo este ejemplo es importante que podamos comprender el alcance y el impacto que la perseverancia de un solo hombre ha alcanzado al mundo, quizás escuchamos algunas mentiras del diablo diciendo: " tanto sufrimiento ¿Para qué? ". Pablo estaba muy seguro que Dios cobraría a través de él, mediante su amor y obediencia a Dios, quizás Pablo no había sacado cuenta de cuántas personas alcanzaría con su mensaje pero si estaba seguro que la obra de Dios se extendería a través de, de la misma manera nosotros debemos poner nuestro foco en lo eterno, en las cosas de Dios y que las dificultades no opaquen nuestra visión eterna.
