I will like to share what I learnt from today's Mass Indoctrination Day 13.
If want to walk in newness of life, the we have to be baptized.
Roman 6:4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; in order that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
Those people who commit sin that leadeth to death should be expel from the Church before they influence the good once with their bad deeds. If you keep on warning sinners and they refused to listen, have nothing to do with them.
Titus 3:10
As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him.
Who ever speak a word against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiving.
Mathew 12:22
And whoever speaketh a word against the son of man will be forgiving, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirits will not be forgiving, either in this age or in the age to come.
Idol worship is abominable to God, therefore, we should refrain from it. They are mere objects which can not talk nor speak.
Psalm 115:4-6
Their idols are Silver and Gold, the work of human hands.
- They have mouth but do not speak, eyes but do not see.
- They have ears, but do not hear; nose but do not smell.
Our God is a jealous God. You can not worship him and still be worshiping idols.
IICorintians 11:2
For I feel a Devine jealous for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.
It is not good to eat dead animals because, it is unclean.
Ezekiel 4:14
Then said, Ah, Lord! behold, I have never defiled myself. From my youth up till now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has fainted meat come into my mouth.
We shouldn't eat blood. It is abominable to God.
Leviticus 17:10
If any one of the house of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.
Those who practice sexual immorality sin against his own body.
1Corinthians 6:18
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sin against his own body.
