What is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43? (Part 6 of 7)

My answer to the above question is:
In as much as we put into practice or work the teachings and admonitions of God, we have obeyed.
Philipians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

From the above scripture, it is stated that we should work and the work entails doing the good works God wants us to do. You cannot be saved if you're not going to do good works. Your faith would be enough for salvation if you're just going to live a day or an hour where you would not be given the chance to do good works but owing to the fact that we would live an extra day and extra years after receiving the faith, you have to grow in the faith and Christ by learning how to do the good works which was set as an example by Christ because He is our perfect example.
Don't do good works only to those that love you but also to your enemies. These good works will qualify you for your salvation.

According to Matthew 25 vs 32-40 the good works of the righteous merited for them the kingdom of God.
