It was a great time listening to great teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.
Titus 3:5 KJV
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
We are saved by the grace of God and not our power.
We need to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Acts 22:16 KJV
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Baptist is a Commandment of God and it should be done in the house of God.
Jesus gave us instruction on baptism. Baptism should be done in Jesus name.
Matthew 28:20 KJV
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We are to be baptized into one body which is God's family and not the structure built by men.
Baptism is washing away sin and the verification of our salvation.
Acts 2:38 KJV
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The main purpose of baptism is for remission of our sin and to receive the gift of Holy Spirit.
The right person who is suppose to baptize one is someone with the knowledge of God's Commandments.
