According to bro Eli, we are not meant to believe if we are God's children or not. As long as we have breathe and we are alive, you are a child of God. Matthew 5:44-45
NIV:But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
As a child of God, we are meant to love even our enemies because they are also children of God. For Christ came to die for sinners and not for the righteous ones for they are lost children who meant to be found. We must be selfless, always be good to people for we are children of God. Every day of our lives, we should always learnt to acknowledge the power of God in our daily lives but whether we acknowledge his power or might or not, his will we always prevail. Luke 6:35
NIV:But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Proverb 3:5
