Summary of what i learnt;
There are 2 kinds of sin: Sin unto death and Sin not unto death, sinning against your brother is a sin not unto death because it's in your brother's power to forgive you. If a person is committing sin unto death, you should not pray for him anymore, we should rather expel him from the household of faith to avoid others from becoming defiled and wicked.
Churches that are not of God tolerate those who do evil things thereby making others evil.
1 John 5:16
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Romans 1:32
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
A pastor that expels evil people from the church should not engage in the acts for which he expelled his member for.
Romans 2:20-24
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
The sin unto death is the sin against the Holy Ghost which includes:
Blasphemy
Eating of blood
Fornication
Eating Food sacrificed to idols
Strangled Animals
Every other sin against God and man can be forgiven but the sin against the Holy Ghost cannot be Forgiven
Matthew 12:31-32
[31]Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
[32]And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Blood is Sacred to God, therefore we shouldn't eat blood.
The sin of Fornication is also frowned at by God, that's why the bible says every other sin is done without the body but the sin of fornication is with the body and the body is the temple of God.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20
[18]Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
[19]What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
[20]For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Eating food sacrifice to idols is a sin against God and it is Prohibited by the Holy Spirit. Eating food sacrificed to Idols defiles your Conscience.
Idolatry is abominable before God. There are different forms of idolatry: Making graven images with silver, gold or wood and bowing to or worshipping them is a form of idolatry. Some people give excuses that they don't worship those graven images but they respect them as they respect their parents but they don't kneel or pray to their parents because respect for one's parents does not entail kneeling and praying to them which makes it obvious as idolatry.
When you worship the creature and not the creator, you are involving in idolatry, some people make statue of Mary and pray to her or worship her while they forget that Mary herself is a creature and she worshipped the creator. We can give her the respect due to her as the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ not worshipping or praying to her. Idols are False gods.
