What is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:39-42

In 11 Pete 1:5-9
NIV:who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
But faith cannot save us along, so as Christians we have to put ours faith into work for without love our faiths are good as death. 1 Corinthians 13:13
NIV:And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
NIV:If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love supersedes everything. so the Love the thief had for Jesus who did nothing, whose love is sufficient to save mankind and by his strips we are heal. so faith works with obedience, charity, hope etc but the greatest of all is love.
