My points:
Genesis 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The first man and woman that God created were given the power to choose obedience to God or disobedience. God gave them options for them to choose but later when they disobey they surely face the consequences.
Our God is lovingkinded, full of love and does not want us to perish or lost, but it's now in our hands to determine and choose between life and destruction.
Always remember that to every disobedience, there is a penalty.
